Phnom Penh to Battambang
You'll travel west to Battambang, a quieter city situated along the Sangkae River. The drive takes several hours but offers views of the countryside. Once there, you'll have time to settle in and see some of the city's colonial architecture and laid-back vibe for yourself.

Battambang
Start the day visiting a traditional local house to see how rural families live. Later, head out to Banan Temple, a 12th-century structure on a hilltop with great views around it. At dusk, you'll see thousands of bats leaving the hillside as night falls, which is quite a sight to witness.

Angkor Archaeological Park
Your day explores Angkor Archaeological Park by tuk-tuk starting at Angkor Thom. You'll enter through the South Gate with its carved gods and demons, then see Bayon temple with its famous faces. From there, you'll check out the Elephant Terrace and Terrace of the Leper King before heading to Ta Prohm and spending the rest of the day at Angkor Wat. Later, take a boat ride around the moat of Angkor Thom as the day winds down.

Mekong River Cruise

The ship arrives back in Phnom Penh, and you'll finish the afternoon with a cocktail at Raffles Hotel Le Royal before returning to your ship for the night.
