Keflavik to Reykjavik
You'll land at Keflavik airport and catch a shuttle bus to your hotel in Reykjavik. If your timing works out, there's room to wander around the capital on your own before dinner, which you'll sort out independently.

Reykjavik to Akureyri
Your guide meets you at 9:00 AM at the hotel. The route heads west along Hvalfjoerdur fjord toward Borgarnes, where you'll do a leisurely hike around Grabrok volcano crater with lava fields all around. After that comes Glaumbaer, an old turf house farm with a folk museum attached. The drive continues through scenic fjords and mountain passes, and by the time you reach Akureyri in North Iceland, you'll have the rest of the day free to explore the town at your own pace.

Godafoss - Myvatn

By evening, you'll soak in the Myvatn Nature Baths with views out over the area.

Myvatn to Herad
You'll walk through Dimmuborgir, which is basically a maze of lava formations with a lot of folklore attached. Then there's Namaskar, where you can see bubbling mud pools and steam vents. After that, the route takes you through the highlands toward East Iceland, ending at Dettifoss waterfall.

Vatnajökull - Jökulsárlón
This day focuses on the East Fjords with their rugged landscapes, and you'll also check out a collection of stones and minerals. Vatnajokull, Europe's largest glacier, comes next so you can see its size firsthand. The highlight is a boat tour on Jokulsarlon glacial lagoon where you'll glide between icebergs. The day wraps up at Diamond Beach, where ice chunks wash ashore on black volcanic sand.

Reykjavik to Westfjords
Your guide meets you at 09:00 to start for the Westfjords. You'll see Grabrok, a 3,400-year-old volcanic crater with valley views, then move to Eiriksstadir where Viking explorers like Eirik the Red once lived. A replica longhouse and living museum cover Viking life and history. After visiting Thingmannaa Waterfall, you'll settle into the fishing village of Patreksfjorodur for two nights with fjord views.
