- ADiane· October 6th, 2023The tour was great! The animals...so many so close so exciting. Loved the trucks that we can stick our heads out of and be part of nature and not stuck in a bus. We all had our windows. The guides were knowledgeable and helpful and the drivers became our buddies and answered many many questions. The hotels and the food were fabulous. Loved the outdoor tents...WOW hard to call them tents...incredible. Everyone at the hotels were friendly and very helpful. It was a very stress free holiday. Hectic and lots of early animals to see - The transfer in Tanzania went smoothly. A couple of things I felt could be improved on. Since we'd paid for the extra day in Nairobi - would have been nice to meet our guide then instead of just hotel staff. We'd paid for the extension to Zanzibar and we felt abandoned as we were put onto our flight and had to find our new guide once landed. One annoying part of the tour was the constant request for tipping.
