- Anonymous· May 10th, 2025Jeferson at Responsible Travel did a fantastic job helping me plan my itinerary. Every question I asked in Australia was answered within 24 hours in the planning phase. Ecuador is incredibly diverse but my itinerary covered many different ecosystems, pretty towns, amazing national parks and visits to indigenous communities which was amazing. When I needed a slight alteration to the schedule, Jeferson was flexible and wherever I went an amazing guide was ready to show me his area with huge local knowledge. Every transfer was organised. Nothing went wrong because I was in capable, professional and caring hands.Show more
- Michael· August 23rd, 2025The 7 day Galapagos Islands tour is a good way to see 3 of the many islands. There are many early mornings activities so it was reassuring to have some free time before dinner. On the 3 mornings that require very early transfers, we only got breakfast once. The transfers require a short taxi ute ride followed by a short boat ride ($1 cost) before reaching the ferry (do not sit at the front as you will feel every bump and may not get fresh air (think fumes)). We selected Standard accommodation and we were disappointed with the lack of expected facilities (no chair to sit on, no towel rack, room facing the main street) but at least they had running water (once it was fixed at 1 hotel), a bed and air conditioning (1 sounded like a jet engine). The tours were great and catered for all participants (languages and speed of walking). If you do the hike to Sierra Negra, ensure you have good boots, sun cream, plenty of water and snacks and maybe walking poles to cope with the rough terrain after reaching the craters rim. If you go snorkelling ensure you hire wetsuits and we thought they were provided - they were only once provided out of the 3 occasions. Josselyn was very helpful notifying us of changes to times and fixing some of the accommodation problems.Show more
