Calgary to Banff
Head out from Calgary and drive through the Rocky Mountains toward Banff National Park. You'll get a guided tour of the town first, then the rest of the day is yours to walk around and see what catches your interest.

Banff
Christmas morning in Banff comes with fresh snow and cold mountain air. Spend the day checking out the festive town at your own pace, and then rejoin everyone for a special Christmas dinner celebration.

Landmarks Banff - Day 4
Banff
Today in Banff, you'll have flexibility to set your own pace or take advantage of some guided options. If you head to Johnston Canyon, there are steel walkways that let you walk right up to waterfalls and icefalls, which is a nice way to see the landscape without too much hiking. You could also try dog mushing with a husky team if that interests you. There's also a guided tour option where a local expert takes you around to scenic spots, shows you where wildlife hangs out, and tells you about Banff's history. Mix and match however works best for your day.

Banff to Lake Louise
Travel to Lake Louise, which sits high in the mountains with turquoise water surrounded by peaks. There's an optional horse-drawn sleigh ride along a frozen lakeside trail if you want to add that to your day.

Vancouver
