Most of the places we stayed were great—comfortable and even better than expected. A few were pretty simple, but that’s just part of traveling through remote areas where options are limited. The food was tasty and there was always plenty of it. One of the highlights was a fantastic wine tasting experience in Armenia—it was a lot of fun.
