Itinerary
- Day 1
Madrid
You'll be transferred to your hotel and have the rest of the day to settle in at your own pace. Stop by the reception desk in the afternoon to check the boards for information about upcoming tour activities.
- Day 2
Tordesillas - León - Oviedo
Early departure heading through Castile and León with a stop in Tordesillas to break up the drive. Once you reach León, you'll see the Gothic cathedral there before crossing over the Cantabrian Range to get to Oviedo. The city tour happens either in the evening or the next morning and covers the 9th-century cathedral, Congress Palace, Campoamor Theatre, and Calle Rúa. Dinner that night is traditional Asturian food at a cider house.

Picos de Europa - Santillana - Santander
Travel to Picos de Europa starting at the Basilica of Covadonga, then follow the coast to Santillana, which has one of the best preserved medieval quarters in Spain. You'll tour the Altamira Cave Museum with your ticket included. From there, head to Santander for a guided city tour that shows off the coastal architecture and the bay area.

Bilbao - Madrid
You'll drive along the Cantabrian coast motorway with those mountains and sea views the whole way. Bilbao is your stop for the day with a short city tour covering the Guggenheim area, the old quarter, and the cathedral. After that, you have free time to try pintxos around the city before continuing toward Madrid, arriving around 8:00 p.m.
