    I organized a one-day tour with Ivana, departing from Podgorcia to Durmitor National Park, Black Lake, Tara Bridge through Tara Gorge and drop off in Bijelo Polje. We visited Ostrog Monastery, which is a stunning monastery. Ivana was an absolute delight to communicate with and to organize such an amazing tour for us. Nothing was too much trouble for her and after emails we were able to settle on a tour. Our guide for the day was Bojan who was incredible. He navigated the numerous hairpin bends and winding roads with patience. He was accommodating, polite, respectful and fun to be with. He suggested a beautiful restaurant in Zabljak for lunch. I highly recommend Ivana to organise your next tour.

    For experiencing the best of Montenegro hiking look no further. I’ve hiked extensively throughout the World and Balkanica Travel, the local Montenegro organizer, handled the details professionally and provided expert guides along the way. Guides that not only serve on Montenegro’s Search and Rescue Teams but have been born and live in the nearby communities providing insight and opportunities creating lasting memories. I hiked some spectacular trails and ate local meals at family run places. Beautiful!

    I had a wonderful time with wonderful people. Tourist guide Ivana is great, the food was delicious, the accommodation and the hosts kind and accommodating. I enjoyed nature and all the activities... caving is definetely something different but amazing.

Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.

  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before November 16th, 2025 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after November 16th, 2025, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Balkanica Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • Some departure dates and prices may vary and Balkanica Travel will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
