Itinerary
- Day 1
Tirana to Saranda - Ksamil
Your tour leader picks you up from your hotel in Tirana and drives south to Saranda, which sits along the Ionian Sea with views across to Corfu Island. You'll have some time to walk along the waterfront, grab a coffee or ice cream, and soak in the coastal atmosphere. After that, head to Ksamil where you can swim in the clear turquoise water and relax on the white sand beaches. Four small islands are visible from shore, and you'll spend the afternoon here before heading to your accommodation near the riviera for the evening.

Albanian Riviera - Himara - Dhermi
This morning you drive along the Riviera coastline, passing through several beach areas including Llamani, Dhermi, and Palasa with rocky cliffs and small villages visible above the water. You'll stop in Himara, where the town sits between mountains and the sea. Wander the promenade, try some local food with Greek influences, and check out handmade items for sale. Then continue to Dhermi, known for its hidden coves and pebble beaches where the water is clear enough for swimming. You'll settle in near the riviera for the night.

Dhermi - Vlora - Tirana
After breakfast, you'll drive to Vlora, a historic city that was founded back in the 6th century BC and is known as the 'City of the Flag'. Visit Flag Square and the Independence Monument, which marks where Albania declared independence on November 28, 1912. Take time to walk through the Muradie Neighbourhood and see the Muradie Mosque, an Ottoman structure from 1537 that's been well maintained over the centuries. From there, you'll drive back north to Tirana and return to your original hotel, wrapping up your tour.
