Reviews of Small Group tours to Montenegro
- Semi-Private Day Tour of Montenegro: Budva & Kotor from TiranaAwesome Day Trip! Our tour guide Stevi was excellent! Budva & Kotor are spectacular.
- Small Group Tour; Highlights of Montenegro in 8 DaysWe had a very good time during this tour! We truly recommend taking this one or any other tour with this company, it’s very well organized, informative and safe!
- 8 Days Montenegro Sailing TourWe just arrived home from our 7 day sailing trip with 16 of our closest friends and family. I can't say enough good things about Alexandra, her husband, the crew, or the rest of the DM yachting staff. Our trip was magical to say the least. The included breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals were delicious and the drinks we purchased from the bar were well priced. The alcohol we purchased on the boat was less expensive when compared to any of the port restaurants by a significant margin. Also, I'd like to especially highlight the professionalism of Alexandra and her husband who personally helped us and went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated through a surprise incident where we needed temporarily evacuate the boat. They organized for us to stay at a very nice resort, treated us to meals at that hotel, and kept us informed throughout the process.. While we enjoyed the unplanned visit to this resort, we were happy to return to the boat and continue our adventure through Montenegro. My wife and I hope to book with them again knowing that no matter what unplanned event may possibly happen, they will work to ensure you have a beautiful vacation. Thank you so much!

The smaller size means easy navigation through UNESCO sites like Kotor's Old Town where guides can give personal attention. A TourRadar traveler mentioned: "The small group size made it possible to stop at beautiful hidden beaches and coves that larger groups couldn't access." These tours include authentic food experiences from wine sampling at Tvrdos Monastery to dinner at local spots in Perast with Bay of Kotor views.
- How does transportation differ with small group tours in Montenegro?- The tours use Mercedes-Benz vans or minibuses that can navigate Montenegro's narrow mountain passes and reach small coastal villages. Montours operates Mercedes Viano vehicles for groups up to 8 people perfect for accessing the winding road to Njegusi village or remote Ostrog Monastery. - What are the accommodation benefits of small group tours in Montenegro?- These tours can book rooms at select boutique properties like the 5-star Hotel Gradska in Cetinje or Hotel Bracera in Budva's old quarter where larger groups can't be accommodated. These smaller hotels offer personalized attention and local character. Groups can reach lesser-known viewpoints and hidden locations that big tours miss. One TourRadar traveler commented: "We could explore Kotor's city walls early morning before the cruise ships arrived making the experience much more enjoyable."
