Strasbourg
You'll board the AMADEUS in Strasbourg starting at 16:00 and get settled into your cabin. After checking in, there's a welcome cocktail where you can meet the tour guide and other passengers. Dinner that evening is a festive affair to kick off the cruise, and the ship stays docked in Strasbourg overnight so you can rest up.

Strasbourg
This morning you have the option to head out to the Alsatian countryside and visit Obernai if you want, though that's entirely up to you. Back in Strasbourg, you'll see the Christmas decorations throughout the city and can walk through the festive market in the center. There's time to explore the romantic old town before heading back to the ship. You'll depart at 22:00 heading toward Germany.

Heidelberg
The ship arrives in Speyer at 05:00, and if you're interested, there's an optional excursion to Heidelberg to see its Christmas market and historic architecture. You'll return in time for lunch, then head into Speyer to check out the Christmas market there during the afternoon. The ship leaves at 20:00 and heads downriver toward Rüdesheim.

You'll arrive in Rüdesheim at 05:00 and have the morning to explore this wine town over breakfast. From there, you travel to Koblenz for lunch while passing through the Middle Rhine Valley with views of Loreley Rock. After arriving in Koblenz, there's time to walk around the romantic streets in the afternoon. Back aboard, there's a gala dinner before the ship departs at 21:59.
