    Our cruise on MS Symphonie was excellent. The boat and our cabin in particular were comfortable and well equipped. The food was very good, tasty, beautifully prepared and presented, with well-sized portions, and a wide variety of French cuisine including many regional specialities. The included wines were varied, delicious and demonstrated an interesting range of French varieties. The range of the other drinks on offer was also very satisfactory. We did not feel it was necessary to try any of the paid drinks but it was nice to know they were available. Service was excellent in all categories: efficient and friendly. We only took two of the optional excursions (Strasbourg and Colmar) and both were well organised and very interesting. We would happily take another cruise with CroisiEurope.

    I'm booking a European river cruise for my mother and aunt to celebrate their retirement. Ideally it would be Christmas themed under 2500pp for the cruise. Interested in airfare deals separately if they exist.

      As long as the room has a large window we don't mind if it's main or upper deck. My aunt has some mobility challenges so if there is an accessible room that is preferred. Balcony would be a plus.

      I will be deciding on which cruise to book tomorrow. My mother let me know that the accessible room is not necessary but would prefer a room with twin beds near the elevator on the upper deck.

      Is a French balcony worth it in winter or would they generally not use it? Also, This seems to be a refurbished ship- what are your experiences with this vs a newer ship?

      There is very little difference between a new and refurbished ship, because the ships are constantly being refurbished. The operator has received no complaints.

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 120 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
