- Day 1
Arrival in Bogotá
You'll arrive at El Dorado International Airport where transportation to your Bogotá hotel is arranged. After settling in, the rest of the day is flexible - you can either relax at the hotel or start wandering the city on your own to get a feel for things.

- Day 2
Bogotá
A guided bike tour takes you through La Candelaria district, covering squares, parks, historical sites, and street art to understand Bogotá's culture and past. Later you'll head to the Gold Museum to see over 30,000 pre-Columbian gold pieces. In the afternoon, you'll try tejo at a local spot, playing Colombia's national game by throwing metal discs at gunpowder targets.

Zipaquirá - Raquira - Villa de Leyva
After breakfast, you'll travel north to the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá, an underground church carved 120 meters deep into a salt mine. From there, the route continues to Raquira, a colorful village known for pottery and ceramics. By evening you'll arrive in Villa de Leyva, a colonial town, where you can stroll the large main square, wander cobbled streets, and check out local cafés and craft shops.

You'll visit the Paleontological Museum to see dinosaur fossils from over 150 million years ago and learn about the region's Jurassic period. Then you'll head back to Bogotá to catch your flight to the Coffee Region, landing in Salento by late afternoon or evening.

- Day 5
Cocora Valley - Finca El Ocaso
The Cocora Valley is your destination today, where wax palms tower over lush cloud forest. You can walk under these trees, look for bird species, and optionally ride horses through the valley. On the way back, you'll stop in Salento to explore the main square and grab local coffee or browse handmade crafts. The day wraps up at Finca El Ocaso, a traditional coffee farm, where you'll learn how coffee moves from seed to cup.

- Day 7
Medellín
You'll explore Medellín's transformation from a dangerous city to an innovative hub. Using the metro and cable car, you'll travel through Comuna 13, an area showing real community resilience, and ride the electric escalators that helped revitalize the city. You'll learn about the neighborhood's history and daily life, then visit Berrio Park and Botero Plaza to see Fernando Botero's striking bronze sculptures.

You have flexibility here - spend the day relaxing in Tayrona's coastal setting, or take a full-day guided tour through Tayrona National Park (approximately 9 hours). The tour includes hiking through tropical forest, visiting beaches like Cañaveral, Arrecife, Arenillas, La Piscina, and Cabo San Juan, with a lunch break and time to swim.

In the afternoon, a half-day tour includes La Popa Monastery at the city's highest point with panoramic views, and the Felipe de Barajas Fortress, a coral stone structure built as a pirate defense. The day ends with a two-hour walk through the historic center, exploring squares, churches, and winding streets.
