- Day 1
Arrival in Tirana
You'll get picked up from the airport and head to your hotel to get settled in. This evening, dinner is at Mullixhiu, one of the Balkans' top restaurants. Chef Bledar Kola serves a creative seasonal tasting menu paired with Albanian wines and raki, so it's a nice introduction to the local food and drink scene.

Tirana to Shkodër
Meet in your hotel garden at 09:00 for a casual walk through central Tirana. From there, you'll head north and stop in Shkodër where Chef Alfred Marku has lunch waiting at Rapsodia, one of the region's finest restaurants. After lunch, continue on the scenic road heading north and arrive in the historic city of Shkodër for a three-night stay.

Shkodër
This morning you'll walk around Shkodër, a city with layers of history where Ottoman-era buildings stand next to Italian-influenced structures. Later, head out to the village of Gruemirë for lunch at Fatjon Mani's family winery. You'll learn about local dishes and try the indigenous Kallmet grape wine produced there.

Shkodër
Spend the full day at Mrizi i Zanave, Albania's most famous restaurant. It's set on the family farm of brothers Altin and Anton Prenga in Fishtë. Start with a farm tour, then do a wine tasting before sitting down to a generous feast of seasonal, locally-sourced dishes prepared in the Slow Food tradition. Portions are big, so don't rush through it.

Kruja to Tirana
Spend a relaxed morning in Kruja, then leave at 11:00 and drive to Uka Farm, an organic operation started by a former Communist-era biologist. Tour the farm to see the sustainable practices, participate in a wine tasting, and have lunch with seasonal farm ingredients. Then return to Tirana for your final night.
