Victor Tours DMC Operator•Written April 2025The Balkans is quite huge region, and of course there will be a lot of driving, but with so many stops so it is both doable and enjoyable. The stops are long enough to have a break, lunch, and walking tour in most of the cases. The entire journey will be carried out in an air-conditioned vehicle that is less than five years old.

Asked on February 16th, 2025What is the cancellation policy for this trip if we change plans? Is this wheelchair accessible? My husband uses collapsible wheelchair, can ascend / descend bus, can walk but limited distance, can navigate only few steps.

The tour is generally not very wheelchair friendly. There are a lot of castles in the itinerary, a lot of going up and down the stairs, there are a couple of walking tours around the places that we're visiting. From our side, we will do our best to help your husband out (our driver would help with loading and unloading the wheelchair, and everything else that's in his power), but it would be unfair to say that we can guarantee him a smooth experience on this tour.

Traveler•Written February 2025We prefer the 'The Best of Serbia, Bulgaria and Romania' for June 2025. He stays in the bus if we think it will not be possible to navigate. At times, he would wait in front of attractions and stays there till the group returns.

Yes, that tour is pretty similar, the only difference is that the tour 'Castles and Capitals' includes Hungary, while 'The Best of Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria' does not include Hungary. We understand the situation with your husband, and we believe, with good will from both sides, we would find a way for him to enjoy as well. The good thing is that our tours are small-group tours (15 maximum), so we have more space for some more detailed attention.
