- Day 1
Rome
You'll arrive at Rome Airport where a Greca representative will meet you for your hotel transfer. The rest of the day is yours to settle in or hop on the complimentary 24-hour Rome sightseeing bus. The open-top bus comes with audio commentary covering all the city's iconic monuments, so you can explore at your own pace from up there.

Rome to Sorrento
After breakfast, you're heading south by luxury bus through Lazio and Campania regions to Naples. From Vomereso Hill, you'll get a panoramic view of Mount Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples, then visit Castel dell'Ovo and the Santa Lucia district. Later you'll grab authentic Neapolitan pizza in Pompeii before a guided tour of the archaeological site. The scenic Sorrentine Coast drive takes you to Sorrento for dinner and the night.

Sorrento
After breakfast, you've got the day to explore Sorrento or venture out to the Amalfi Coast on your own. The historic centre's narrow streets are good for wandering, and you'll find local craft shops and small squares scattered around. The cathedral's worth seeing too, with its impressive interior and bell tower.

Sorrento to Palermo (Ferry)
After breakfast in Sorrento, you can spend the morning exploring at your own pace. In the afternoon, you'll transfer to Naples port to board the Tirrenia/Snav ferry heading to Palermo. You'll spend the night onboard, so settle into your cabin and get comfortable for the overnight crossing.

Palermo
You'll arrive in Palermo and transfer to your hotel. After settling in, have dinner and rest up for tomorrow's activities around the city and surrounding areas.

Monreale
Breakfast at your hotel starts the day, then you're heading to Monreale, a UNESCO site known for almonds, olive oil, citrus, and Norman architecture. You'll visit the Cathedral of Monreale and have free time for shopping before heading back to Palermo. The walking tour through the Old Town covers 3,000 years of history, including the Cathedral with its arches, cupolas, and mosaics. You'll have some free time after that before dinner at your hotel.

Palermo to Agrigento
Early breakfast, then off to Erice, a medieval village on Monte San Giuliano with maze-like streets barely changed since the sixth century. From there, the Saline lagoon combines history, nature, and archaeology in one spot. You'll head to Marsala for a regional tasting experience with light lunch at a traditional tavern. Later, Agrigento and the Valley of Temples awaits, a UNESCO site with ancient Greek temples like the Temple of Concord, Temple of Hercules, and Temple of Jupiter. Check in at your hotel for dinner.

Agrigento to Ragusa
After breakfast, travel to Piazza Armerina to see Villa Romana del Casale, a 4th-century Roman hunting lodge with exceptional mosaics showing mythological scenes and hunting. A 12th-century landslide buried it, and it was partially rediscovered in the 1800s. Next stop is Ragusa and the historical center Ibla with baroque palaces and churches. You'll check out the San Giorgio gate, Giardini Iblei gardens, Piazza Pola, Church of San Giuseppe, Church of the Souls in Purgatory, and Cosentini Palace. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

After breakfast, head to Noto, a fishing town known for its baroque architecture. Visit the Cathedral of San Nicolo and wander through the town centre. Then move on to Syracuse to explore the Parco Archeologico della Neapolis with Greek and Roman ruins, the Greek Amphitheater, and the Ear of Dionysius cave. After that, you'll check out Ortygia island with its baroque churches and medieval palaces. You'll reach your Taormina hotel in the late afternoon for dinner.

Weather permitting, you'll ascend to around 1,800 meters and see where nature, culture, and history meet on this Sicilian landmark. Back in Taormina by afternoon, you'll have leisure time before dinner at your hotel.
