Overnight Flight to Italy
Your Italian adventure starts with an overnight flight to Italy. You'll head south to experience the region's scenery, art, culture, food, and wine throughout your trip.
- Day 2
Rome
You'll arrive in Rome and meet up with your group for a welcome dinner tonight. This is where your Eternal City experience begins.

Rome
Start with a local guide walking through Rome's Renaissance and Baroque sites. You'll climb the Spanish Steps for city views, wander the cobblestone streets past Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon, then reach Piazza Navona built on an ancient stadium. The afternoon is free to check out the Monti district or whatever interests you.

Rome
An expert guide leads you through the Imperial Fora, where you'll see the Colosseum exterior, Basilica of Maxentius remains, and Trajan's Markets. Then you'll walk through Rome's medieval quarter with its narrow streets and Roman ruins mixed in. Afternoon is yours to explore the capital, or join an optional food tour in Testaccio for dinner.

Rome to Amalfi Coast
You'll travel to the Amalfi Coast with its rocky beaches and dramatic cliffs. Stop at a local winery to taste Lacryma Christi wine and have a typical lunch. Then choose how to see Pompeii: either a guided tour of the main monuments or venture into the less-known areas on your own. Late afternoon you'll check into your hotel on the coast for the next five nights.

Sail along the Amalfi Coast to Positano, where pastel houses line pebbly beaches. You'll have time to browse shops or relax by the water, then continue to Amalfi with its striking black-and-white marble cathedral. Explore on your own before heading back to the hotel for a relaxing evening.

Sorrento
Head east along the Bay of Naples to Sorrento, a charming resort town. Walk through narrow streets, check out St. Francis's peaceful cloister, or grab local lemon gelato. This afternoon, visit a traditional terraced farm to see how cheese is made by hand, then enjoy a farm-to-table dinner with homemade limoncello before returning late.

Vietri sul Mare
Visit Vietri sul Mare, the ceramics capital of the coast, with quiet lanes and colorful majolica-decorated buildings. You can climb the hill for a closer look at the duomo or stroll the waterfront and maybe wade into the Mediterranean. Tonight you'll join the group for a farewell dinner ending your Italian trip.
