Istanbul
You'll arrive in Istanbul and connect with your guide at the airport. From there, it's a transfer to your hotel where you'll check in and spend the evening settling in.

Istanbul
This morning you'll start with Istanbul's major sites. Head to Hagia Sophia to see the Byzantine mosaics, then move on to Topkapi Palace for a look at Ottoman treasures. The Blue Mosque comes next with its distinctive blue tile work. After lunch, you'll walk through the Egyptian Bazaar checking out spices and local goods. By evening, you'll take a Bosphorus cruise with views of the city's mosques, palaces, and bridges.

Istanbul to Ankara
You'll travel to Ankara, Turkey's modern capital. The main stop here is the Ataturk Mausoleum, which honors Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of modern Turkey. It's a significant historical site worth taking time to explore.

- Day 4
Ankara to Cappadocia
Start the day at the Ankara Museum of Anatolian Civilizations to see artifacts from ancient times. Then you'll head toward Cappadocia, stopping at Lake Tuz on the way. It's called the 'Mirror of the Sky' because of its striking pink color. You'll arrive in Cappadocia later, where the landscape is unlike anywhere else, shaped by erosion into something otherworldly.

The Fairy Chimneys are the real standout here with their unusual rock formations. By evening, you'll watch a belly dance and whirling dervish performance.

Cappadocia to Kayseri
Travel to Kayseri for a day at Erciyes Ski Centre on Mount Erciyes (3,916m/12,847 ft). The slopes run from 2,150m to 3,400m elevation with varying difficulty from 10 percent to 50 percent grade, so there's terrain for different skill levels throughout the day.

Kayseri to Pamukkale
Head to Konya first to visit the Mevlana Museum, the spiritual home of the whirling dervish tradition. Later you'll travel to Pamukkale with its famous thermal springs and white travertine terraces. Walk through the ancient city of Hierapolis to see its well-preserved amphitheater. By evening, you'll relax at the hotel spa with a thermal bath.

Pamukkale to Kusadasi
You'll travel to the Aegean coast and the town of Kusadasi. The main event is Ephesus, one of the best-preserved classical cities from Roman times. Check out the Library of Celsus and the Great Theater there. After that, you'll have free time in the evening to walk along Kusadasi's coastline.

Canakkale to Istanbul
