- ZNZsuzsanna· September 27th, 2025The itinerary covers major points in Istanbul and Anatolia. The tour was well organized with good transport including domestic flights and transfers/ Efe was fantastic guide. He helped us to get familiar with Turkey and learn about its history and people. .Show moreTrip date: September 2025
- KSkerrie· September 11th, 2025An excellent tour with Mert and Sherif our driver One long day in the bus but if the bus was more spacious and seats more comfortable it would have been a breeze. The bus for long travel needs to be reassessed Otherwise we had a great experience Mert certainly is a gem. His knowledge was first class. We highly recommend this small group tourShow moreTrip date: September 2025
- PGPrudence· September 4th, 2025Communication was limited and disjointed. Sometimes plans were changed with little notice. - JSJames· August 28th, 2025The things to do on the trip were amazing! If you get Mert as your guide then you are in luck as he is phenomenal and his knowledge of the country was awesome. Food choices were also excellent! My only knock was that about half of the hotels were below average with smells or non working AC. The other is I chose solo to have my own room but the everyone else was female so I definitely was taken advantage of by having to pay $300 extra when they clearly knew I was the only guy. The other half of the hotels though were amazing and with stunning views and accommodations. Despite the couple of bad hotels wouldn't let that dismay anyone from choosing this tour. Felt safe with great internet the whole time as well. Was an amazing insight into a country I never thought I would be able to get to.Show moreTrip date: March 2025

- FPFarnaz· July 10th, 2025This was a great tour of Turkey to be able to see lots in a short period of time. First of all, Kodoos to our tour guide Ali who was very professional, knowledgeable, respectful and helpful. Next, the hotel locations were all central so we could go out during the evenings and enjoy the town centres. Lastly, lunch places were all excellent in terms of both location and the food. Overall a very pleasant experience and highly recommended :)Show moreTrip date: June 2025

- HDHarsh· June 23rd, 2025The itinerary was great. Got a good feel for Turkey. Our tour Guide Efe was knowledgeable, friendly, and explained the history of the various monuments that we visited. The hotel in Istanbul, Celal Sultan was not the best. It had very small rooms, you could barely open your checked luggage, we stayed here twice. First time, we were in the old part of the hotel. We had to climb stairs for one floor t to reach the room since the lift only went to the third floor and our room was on the fourth floor.Show moreTour Altinkum Travel commented on this reviewDear Harsh, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. - DDDavid· June 4th, 2025Great trip because of our tour guide Efe. Small issues prevented me from giving it five stars: —meet and greet at Istanbul airport not smooth. Had to wait 30 minutes for transport. —tour advertised a cable car ride to a mountain summit outside Antalya. That cable car has not operated in a year. —some of the lunch buffets were less than optimal. The sit down lunches were much better.Show moreTour Altinkum Travel commented on this reviewDear David, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and we're so glad to hear that Efe made your trip memorable—he truly is a fantastic guide. - MSMELISA· May 25th, 2025Transfers to and from the airports were flawless. Our tour guide, Mert, was good. The hotel in Istanbul (Celal Sultan) is very close to the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, and Hagia Sofia, but water pressure was low the elevator did not work. Efe Hotel in Kusadasi was great. Best Western Khan Hotel in Antalya was ok. Melekler Evi Cave Hotel in Cappadocia was terrible - the lower level of our two level room was very stuffy due to lack of ventilation and the bed was not very clean. The transfers between cities were efficient.Show moreTrip date: May 2025

Asked on August 12th, 2025I want to understand how strenuous the tours and how much walking there is every day. My mother has arthritis so I'm worried she will not be able to keep up
- Tour Altinkum TravelOperator•Written August 2025
This tour will mostly be a walking tour, so it may be difficult for your mother if she has severe arthritis. You will be walking at least 3-4 hours per day.

Barbara
Traveler•Written August 2025Is the 3-4 hrs continuously or broken up? Are there many stairs / steep hills?
- Tour Altinkum TravelOperator•Written August 2025
It may not be continuous walking, but for example, the Istanbul tour day is entirely on foot. In Ephesus, you will walk for about 1-1.5 hours. Cappadocia involves some walking as well, with certain areas having stairs or steep hills. If she has severe arthritis, some parts of the tour may be challenging. However, she could choose to skip certain sections — for example, if she prefers not to visit some museum areas, she could sit at a nearby café and wait for you and the group. You can always speak with your guide to make these arrangements during the tour.

Asked on June 15th, 2025I am looking for a tour that starts July 21 and finishes July 29 starting at Istanbul ending in Dalaman for two people
- Tour Altinkum TravelOperator•Written June 2025
We can modify the program. There is no direct flight from Kayseri to Dalaman on 29th July. We can arrange a connecting flight from Kayseri to Dalaman via Istanbul after your Cappadocia tour on 29th July. You would arrive in Dalaman at approximately 22:20 on the same day. We can arrange a transfer to your hotel in Dalaman. On 30th July, we will organize a transfer from your hotel to Dalaman Airport for your 06:30 am flight. There will be an additional cost of 150 USD per person for this arrangement, which covers the connecting flight and both airport transfers price difference.
