- ASAli· October 22nd, 2025An amazing tour of Turkey! The itinerary was great, well planned and checked off all of the places that were top of my list! Our guide, Barb, was incredible. So knowledgeable and made our tour that much more joyful! Would highly recommend this tour. LOVED the cave hotel in Cappadocia!Show moreTrip date: September 2025
- MAMania· October 17th, 2025Overall, everything was good. The best hotel was in Cappadocia; the other one was fair, and the one in Kusadasi had a great location. The lunches were good, and the sights we visited were wonderful. Our tour guide, Ugur, was knowledgeable.Show moreTrip date: October 2025
- AAdelle· October 7th, 2025Overall the tour was good. Well planned & ran smoothly. However the cable car experience which is in the itinerary does not happen as there was an incident over 1 year ago & the it was closed down. I do not know why they still have it as part of the itinerary. This was most disappointing. Most of the hotels were satisfactory.Show moreTrip date: September 2025
- TVTony· October 6th, 2025Outstanding tour guide Disappointed with the Efe Boutique Hotel our room was very poorly maintained !! Would /Should provide more information re the cost of admission to the sites visited before you travel (no surprises)Show moreTrip date: September 2025
- MCMary· October 6th, 2025We thoroughly enjoyed our tour radar Best of Turkey experience. An all around wonderful experience in a beautiful country; filled with so much history and culture. We enjoyed it all and our guide Efe was icing on the cake. He was knowledgeable, helpful, happy, had an easy going demeanor and a great laugh. The only thing that I would mention, was that when we originally signed up for the tour it was advertised as small group 8-12? people. When in fact, I believe they likely merged two groups or more groups and it ended up being just under 20 people. It was not a big deal at all, but just something to be aware of possibly a last-minute change in tour size. Would definitely book again through tour radar.Show moreTrip date: September 2025
- HBHuy Tien· September 29th, 2025The best thing about this tour was our guide, Barbaros. He was informative, caring, thoughtful, and spoke excellent English. The tour was well organised, and the itinerary gave us a comprehensive overview of Turkey. We never once felt rushed. My wife had a fever in Istanbul after the first day of the tourShow moreTrip date: September 2025
- ZNZsuzsanna· September 27th, 2025The itinerary covers major points in Istanbul and Anatolia. The tour was well organized with good transport including domestic flights and transfers/ Efe was fantastic guide. He helped us to get familiar with Turkey and learn about its history and people. .Show moreTrip date: September 2025
- KSkerrie· September 11th, 2025An excellent tour with Mert and Sherif our driver One long day in the bus but if the bus was more spacious and seats more comfortable it would have been a breeze. The bus for long travel needs to be reassessed Otherwise we had a great experience Mert certainly is a gem. His knowledge was first class. We highly recommend this small group tourShow moreTrip date: September 2025
- PGPrudence· September 4th, 2025Communication was limited and disjointed. Sometimes plans were changed with little notice. Anatolia visit was not of much interest and although hotel service was good, hotel was run down. Breakfast often disappointing and tour lunches very subShow moreTrip date: August 2025
- JSJames· August 28th, 2025The things to do on the trip were amazing! If you get Mert as your guide then you are in luck as he is phenomenal and his knowledge of the country was awesome. Food choices were also excellent! My only knock was that about half of the hotels were below average with smells or non working AC. The other is I chose solo to have my own room but the everyone else was female so I definitely was taken advantage of by having to pay $300 extra when they clearly knew I was the only guy. The other half of the hotels though were amazing and with stunning views and accommodations. Despite the couple of bad hotels wouldn't let that dismay anyone from choosing this tour. Felt safe with great internet the whole time as well. Was an amazing insight into a country I never thought I would be able to get to.Show moreTrip date: March 2025

Asked on August 12th, 2025I want to understand how strenuous the tours and how much walking there is every day. My mother has arthritis so I'm worried she will not be able to keep up
Tour Altinkum TravelOperator•Written August 2025This tour will mostly be a walking tour, so it may be difficult for your mother if she has severe arthritis. You will be walking at least 3-4 hours per day.

Barbara
Traveler•Written August 2025Is the 3-4 hrs continuously or broken up? Are there many stairs / steep hills?
Tour Altinkum TravelOperator•Written August 2025It may not be continuous walking, but for example, the Istanbul tour day is entirely on foot. In Ephesus, you will walk for about 1-1.5 hours. Cappadocia involves some walking as well, with certain areas having stairs or steep hills. If she has severe arthritis, some parts of the tour may be challenging. However, she could choose to skip certain sections — for example, if she prefers not to visit some museum areas, she could sit at a nearby café and wait for you and the group. You can always speak with your guide to make these arrangements during the tour.
