The land content of the tour was well organised, with good local guides Good hotels and transportation. But the 4 days 3 nights on the Gullet was very disappointing. We were met at our hotel by crew at 14-00 and escorted walking along the harbour past many beautiful old Gullet's large and small . Then we arrived at “Summer Love” a small tired rundown gullet . The cabin was good with a bathroom But being the height of summer extremely hot in cabin no fan or airflow and we were told to sleep on the roof of the gullet due the the extreme heat in the cabin. On the bed was the towel!? A very small old worn out towel that could only be a face towel or hand towel. We were told that we were waiting on the captain to arrive then we would depart, after waiting 2 hours on the saloon of the gullet in extremely hot conditions we finally departed. No one of the crew or captain spoke English and communication was very minimal. Crew were generally rude and made the guests feel as we were imposing on them and food service was the same But the food prepared by the captain was good very good! To ask for a bottle of water through the day or drinks was unpleasant as you would think I was asking for something difficult. The captain did not follow the itinerary or program The other guest had the same program as described in my itinerary But the captain would say it’s too busy at the places mentioned and do what suited him . I understand very well that captain’s make the decision that is safe and best for the conditions. The conditions were perfect weather and light breeze Last day we were supposed to stop at Cleopatra baths Myself and the other guests were disappointed that the previous day we did not follow itinerary told him that we really wanted to stop there So he drove the boat nearby to look for a couple of minutes and departed Said too busy and not possible to anchor. The itinerary stated that we would be able to walk the site and go to the beach there. There was plenty of room to anchor in many places with other Gullets . He just said “Take a picture “ The boat trip has been a big disappointment . This should have been the highlight of my trip but was the lowlight. You contracted a cheap budget and substandard Gullet and Captain that really didn’t care about his guests. This was a substandard experience and based on comparable Gullets that I saw as you are anchored with side by side. The final insult was on departure was being charged for drinking water ( you clearly state water in boat was included)The water charges were compensated when I complained. The captain was a better cook than host and captain. But the whole boat experience was disappointing A cheap budget boat operator
