Itinerary
- Day 1
Helsinki
You'll arrive at Helsinki Airport where your driver will be waiting to take you to your hotel. After you settle in, the rest of the day is yours to explore the city at your own pace. Take a walk through different neighborhoods, get a feel for how things are laid out, and grab dinner at a local restaurant to start getting a sense of Finnish food and culture.

- Day 2
Helsinki to Tallinn
Board a ferry heading across the Gulf of Finland to Tallinn, Estonia. You'll have up to 10 hours to walk around the UNESCO-listed Old Town on your own. Check out museums, browse through shops, try some local restaurants, and spend some downtime on the ferry if you want, where you can visit the onboard restaurants or the Traveller Superstore before arriving in port.

Helsinki to Rovaniemi
Head out early morning by train to Rovaniemi in Lapland. Once you arrive, you'll join an exclusive Northern Lights tour with an experienced aurora hunter and photographer who'll chase the lights across the landscape to give you the best chances of seeing the Aurora Borealis (this tour runs during winter months only). In summer, you'll do a Korouoma Canyon and Frozen Waterfalls Tour instead.

Rovaniemi
This is a full day packed with Arctic activities. You'll get transferred to a reindeer farm where you'll ride your own reindeer sledge, then move on to meet the Alaskan Huskies for an exhilarating husky sled ride. Later you'll head to Santa Claus Village where you can explore at your own pace, cross the Arctic Circle, and meet Santa Claus himself.

Rovaniemi
You have a free day in Rovaniemi to spend however you'd like. The city is the official hometown of Santa Claus, and there's plenty to see. You could check out Santa Claus Village again, try a snowmobile ride, visit Ranua Wildlife Sanctuary, walk across Lumberjack's Candle Bridge, go to Ounasvaara Ski Resort, or spend time at Arktikum Science Museum learning about Arctic life and culture.

Rovaniemi to Helsinki
You'll catch an early morning train heading back to Helsinki. Make your own way from your hotel to Rovaniemi train station (you might want to arrange a taxi in advance), and then when you arrive in Helsinki, use a taxi or public transportation to get from the train station back to your hotel.

- Day 7
Helsinki
This is another free day in Helsinki for you to spend exploring. Start at Senate Square to see the white Helsinki Cathedral and the Neo-Classical buildings around it, then head to the bustling Market Square where you can find local food and pick up souvenirs. You could also visit the quiet Kamppi Chapel of Silence, check out Temppeliaukio Rock Church which is carved right into solid rock, and spend time at the Ateneum Art Museum looking at Finnish and international art.

Helsinki to Airport
Your trip ends today. A private car will pick you up from your hotel 3 hours before your flight departure and take you to Helsinki Airport, so you'll have time to check in and get through security without rushing.
