Huge thanks to Phoebe from UME Travel — she really listened to what we wanted and designed the perfect itinerary just for us. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged and totally stress-free from beginning to end. Our guide, Mori, was absolutely fantastic. He was always right on time every morning, super friendly, and his English was excellent. He made the sightseeing so much more fun with his humor and engaging explanations, and he was always happy to answer all our random questions — no matter how many we had! One of our favorite parts? Mori’s food recommendations! Every place he suggested was a hit — from cozy local spots to hidden gems we never would’ve found on our own. It was a great way to experience the Japanese culture, see some beautiful sites and try lots of tasty food! The tour was really well structured with a good balance between guided time and free time, and you’ll get to visit a real variety of locations. It is fast paced, with a fair few early mornings and long days, but the benefit of that was that we got to see more sights and also often managed to avoid the crowds at the major tourist spots.
