  The tour was an absolute delight. My husband and I explored a vast array of Japan treasures! We experienced countless amazing destinations, from playful moments with deer in Nara to ancient temple visits in Kyoto, and even witnessed the majestic Mount Fuji before heading to Tokyo. What a spectacular country, and I'm so thankful we embarked on this journey!

  A dreamy sakura honeymoon in Japan 🌸💗 Huge thanks to Phoebe for planning everything so perfectly — from the smooth transport to the amazing guides, everything was effortless and so well organized. Tokyo’s cherry blossoms had mostly fallen after a big rain (just missed them! 😢), but the blooms in the other cities were absolutely breathtaking. Still, every moment felt magical — couldn’t have asked for a more romantic trip! ✨🍡

  A spontaneous girls' trip with my bestie — no plans, no stress, just vibes! ✈️💖 We had absolutely nothing planned, but a friend told us about UME Travel, so we thought, why not? We contacted them through their website, and they set us up with a super sweet trip designer, Amber. We just told her: “We wanna go to Japan, here’s our number of days, here’s our budget.” That’s it. And boom — she sent us a tailor-made itinerary that fit us perfectly! When we got there, they even arranged a super cute local guide for us — funny, charming, and full of interesting stories. He even took us out at night for some amazing local street food! 🍢🍶 The only tiny thing? His English wasn’t perfect, but honestly, it just made the whole experience even more fun. 😂 Our driver was also super warm and welcoming — felt like traveling with old friends! Honestly, everything was just so good. Definitely booking with UME Travel again next time! 💕

  UME Travel is an excellent travel company. This time, I was traveling alone to relax and unwind. Throughout the trip, whenever I had any questions or concerns, they were always quick to respond and help me, making me feel like I wasn't traveling alone. It was truly a delightful experience. They arranged a private 5-seater car for me, which made it easy to store my belongings and allowed for a more relaxed day of sightseeing. Reducing the burden of transportation was definitely a big plus. My guide in Japan, Monchai, was a treasure trove of knowledge. He spoke with great pride about the places and people of Japan. You could really feel his passion for the country. If I had explored Japan on my own, I wouldn’t have learned so much or had such a meaningful, personal experience.

  UME offers an amazing service, and our travel planner Phoebe was truly a fantastic partner to work with. She made sure we saw and experienced everything we wanted in Japan, resolved all accommodation matters, and made the whole trip smooth and enjoyable. Our guide was excellent, and the driver who took us around was incredibly friendly and helpful. Japan was our dream honeymoon destination, and at first, we were a bit overwhelmed trying to book everything on our own. Phoebe made everything so easy and even arranged some incredible activities and tours we probably would have never discovered without her help. Our guide was a young woman—at first, I was unsure about her experience, but she turned out to be incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, always ready with the answers to our questions. We highly recommend UME to anyone planning an overseas trip and looking for expert help with their itinerary!

  A great plan Excellent on-site guidance phoebe did an excellent job in arranging the itinerary for our first trip to Japan. We have a long list of specific locations we hope to see, and phoebe also helped us offer suggestions for other attractions and experiences. We are not travelers on a "regular itinerary" (the way others do it). Jeremy is our ground coordinator in Japan this time. He is young, energetic and knowledgeable. Our 18-year-old son likes communicating with him and visiting the scenic spots that young people like. If you plan to travel to Japan, I will definitely recommend phoebe and Jeremy. The only thing that confuses us is about the experience of staying in a Japanese Ryokan. We originally thought it would be like what we saw in the movie - a small single-story hut with paper walls and bamboo floors, surrounded by a beautiful garden. But in the end, we stayed in a multi-storey high-rise building with traditional hardwood doors. Coming out of the corridor was like staying in a Western-style hotel. Once inside, there were some sliding doors and we slept on the floor. Apart from that misunderstanding, we had a wonderful two weeks and we will use UME Travel again without hesitation.

  Possibly the best custom tour operators ever. Initially I was very skeptical about booking but after a lot of research I finally did contact UME travels and got a quick response from phoebe. Many changes followed (all of which phoebe graciously entertained without ever making it sound like I was bothering her), we finalized our 7 Days Customized Tokyo and Kansai Classic Tour. From start to finish phoebe was prompt, courteous and airways reachable. We enjoyed our trip to Japan very much. I will certainly recommend UME Travels and phoebe in particular anytime.

  We were really happy with our tour to Japan, it was booked by phoebe I sent a list of things I wanted to do & her was able to arrange everything into the week with the tour & make other suggestions of things to do when I said we weren't so interested in doing food based tours we was able to make other great options & everything was booked well. In Tokyo our guide was Tina she was so friendly, enthusiastic and informative she really knew a lot about Japanese history. She was very good at telling us stories from Japanese mythology and didn't mind that we spent ages up Mt Fuji as the clouds were clearing. In Kyoto & Osaka our guide was Karen she really good she knew when was the best time to visit different places so we were there when it was not so busy, which is hard during Cherry Blossom season, she also knew it was best to get deer crackers before lunch because they all sell out after it at Nara. She also knew the best time and place to go in Kyoto & we managed to see Geisha. She was also brilliant on our days in public transport & managed to get me a seat on every bus & train journey which is amazing with how busy some of the buses were in the morning & evenings. On the days when we were with drivers they were always very polite.
