- CRCatherine· July 3rd, 2024Romania is now my favourite country. Spectacular. Bogdan was my guide for two days and then Marius took over. They were encyclopedias of knowledge. The places we stayed were lovely as were the hosts. Their food was great but sometimes the beds left something to be desired. Sometimes hard and lumpy. As I had had a knee operation, I found the walking up stairs difficult at times but I was helped with my luggage and stairs by the guide. If there was one disappointment it would be having to pay for entrance fees everywhere. I would have liked these included due to the price of the whole trip and as the places had already picked. I did not realise there would be so much walking. But, in saying that a private tour was the only way to go. I was it along with my guide/driver who was courteous, knowledgeable and always a gentleman. I wish the trip could have lasted longer.Show moreTrip date: June 2024
