Itinerary
- Day 1
Frankfurt to Mainz
You'll arrive at Frankfurt Airport and transfer to Mainz to board the MS Crucevita 4* cruise ship. If your flight gets in early, there's time to walk around Mainz on your own before embarkation at 4:00 p.m. Once on board, you'll have a welcome reception and dinner as the ship sets sail down the Rhine.

- Day 2
Mannheim and Heidelberg
After waking up in Mannheim, a university town where the Rhine and Neckar Rivers meet, you'll head to Heidelberg to see the 14th-century university and the palace perched on the hilltop. From there, you'll head back to the ship as it sails through the night.

- Day 3
Strasbourg
The ship pulls into Strasbourg, capital of Alsace. You'll get to walk through the Grande Île, a medieval UNESCO World Heritage site, and check out La Petite France with its canals and old buildings. The cathedral here is worth seeing. You'll return to the ship for the night.

- Day 4
Worms and Rüdesheim
By morning you're in Worms, an ancient Germanic capital. St. Peter's Cathedral, built in the 11th century, shows off High Romanesque architecture that's hard to miss. Later in the afternoon, the ship heads to Rüdesheim, one of the most visited villages in Germany where you can see Klunkhardshof, Adler Tower, Brömser Castle, and the Ehrenfels Castle ruins. You'll sleep on board again.

Koblenz
By midday you'll arrive in Koblenz, situated where the Rhine and Moselle Rivers meet at Deutsches Eck (German Corner). The area has over 2,000 years of history and you're surrounded by mountains, vineyards, and forests. The whole landscape makes for great walking around. Overnight on the ship.

Cochem and Alken
Early morning brings you to Cochem in the Moselle wine region. Cochem Castle sits here with more than 1,000 years of history and careful restorations that you can tour. In the afternoon, you'll reach Alken, a small village on the Moselle banks where you can take a leisurely walk and see local life. Back to the ship for the night.

- Day 7
Boppard
By midday you're in Boppard, which has both natural beauty and plenty of history to explore. You can see Sterrenberg Castle, Liebenstein Castle, the Church of St. Severinus, or walk out to Boppard Bay depending on what interests you. Later that evening, there's a Captain's Dinner on board where you'll celebrate the trip. Sleep on the ship.

Mainz
You'll wake up back in Mainz, the birthplace of Gutenberg's printing press. After breakfast, you disembark at 9:00 a.m. (luggage can stay at the reception desk if you need it later). A guided tour takes you through Mainz's historic center to see the thousand-year-old cathedral and the modern university areas before you head out.
