- Day 1
Halifax
You'll arrive in Halifax and get settled into your accommodation right in the city center. This evening there's a welcome meeting where you'll meet your tour guide and the other travelers joining this adventure. Keep in mind this is a modular tour, so the group composition and guide may change at different points during your journey.

Peggy's Cove - Lunenburg - Halifax
Start with breakfast in Peggy's Cove looking out at one of the world's most photographed lighthouses. From there, you'll head along the south shore to Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage town famous for its Grand Banks fishing schooners. A guided walk takes you through one of the best-preserved colonial settlements in the New World, and you'll stop at the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic to learn about the region's seafaring history.

Charlottetown
This morning you'll visit the Millbrook Cultural and Heritage Centre to learn about the Mi'kmaq people and their heritage. After that, you'll cross the Confederation Bridge, the world's longest continuous multi-span bridge, to reach Prince Edward Island. You'll settle into Charlottetown for two nights, and there's a theatre performance with local talent at the Confederation Centre of the Arts this evening (subject to theatre schedule availability).

Charlottetown
The morning is yours to enjoy at your own pace in Charlottetown. A complimentary walking tour is available if you want it. In the afternoon, you'll tour the north shore of Prince Edward Island, driving past red cliffs, white beaches, and sand dunes within Prince Edward Island National Park. You'll visit Anne of Green Gables Heritage Place, the setting that inspired Lucy Maud Montgomery's novels. By evening, you'll experience a traditional hall-style lobster supper with fresh Maritime seafood.

Baddeck
You'll take the ferry across the Northumberland Strait back to Nova Scotia, then continue to Cape Breton Island via the Canso Causeway. Cape Breton is often called the Scotland of North America. Upon arrival, there's an included sightseeing boat tour on Bras d'Or Lake. You'll stay the next two nights in the charming village of Baddeck.

Cape Breton Highlands National Park - Baddeck
Today you're driving the Cabot Trail, one of North America's most scenic routes, as it winds around Cape Breton's rocky northern shore and climbs into Cape Breton Highlands National Park. You'll stop at scenic lookouts along the way for views of the rugged coastline. Later, you'll visit the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site to learn about the inventor who made his home on the island.

North Sydney - Port aux Basques
You'll spend time at the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site, which is an impressive reconstruction showing about one-fifth of what the 1744 New France settlement looked like. From there, you'll head to North Sydney and board the Marine Atlantic ferry for an overnight crossing to Port aux Basques in Newfoundland. Ferry schedules vary annually, so a daytime crossing might be offered instead, which could mean an overnight stay in Port aux Basques (included if needed).

Port au Choix
After disembarking the ferry this morning, you'll drive through the Codroy Valley and into the beautiful Gros Morne National Park, which you'll explore more fully in the coming days. You'll arrive at Port au Choix, a fishing community where you can learn about ancient cultures that have lived on this peninsula for over 5,500 years on Newfoundland's northwest coast.

L'Anse au Clair
This morning you'll board the ferry from St. Barbe across the Strait of Belle Isle to reach Labrador. You'll visit Red Bay National Historic Site, a UNESCO World Heritage location where Basque whalers operated a station in the 16th century. You'll spend the night in Labrador.

L'Anse aux Meadows - St. Anthony
You'll travel back to Newfoundland and visit L'Anse aux Meadows National Historic Site, the first site in the world designated as a UNESCO World Heritage location. This is where Vikings lived over a thousand years ago, and you'll learn about their presence and influence in this part of the world.

Cow Head
Early this morning, you'll head out on a whale-watching boat tour off St. Anthony's coast (weather permitting), looking for minke whales, humpbacks, and white-sided dolphins while enjoying views of the coastline. After that, you'll drive to Cow Head in Gros Morne National Park for a two-night stay. If you're traveling in June or early July, watch for icebergs as large as the Titanic floating offshore.

Landmarks/POIs Gros Morne National Park - Day 12
Cow Head
Today you'll explore the UNESCO-listed Gros Morne National Park. There's a scenic boat tour on Bonne Bay where bald eagles are frequently spotted near the deep fjord waters. You'll also visit the Tablelands, a flat-topped mountain made of rock that normally exists deep within the Earth's mantle, creating an unusual landscape. Many consider Gros Morne to have some of the most impressive scenery in Eastern Canada. You'll stay a second night in Cow Head.

Deer Lake
Your final morning takes you through Gros Morne National Park one last time, so have your camera ready. You'll be dropped at Deer Lake regional airport where your tour ends. The airport arrival is expected around 11:30, so schedule your departure flight for no earlier than 13:30.
