- Day 1
Corner Brook
You'll touch down in Corner Brook and get settled into your accommodation for the night. This gives you a chance to shake off travel fatigue and prepare for the adventures ahead.

Corner Brook to Port au Choix
After meeting your guide and other travelers, you'll drive through Gros Morne National Park heading toward Port au Choix on the northwest coast. This fishing community has some fascinating history to uncover, including evidence of human settlement going back 5,500 years.

Port au Choix to L'Anse au Clair
You'll board a ferry from St. Barbe to cross the Strait of Belle Isle into Labrador. Once there, you'll visit Red Bay National Historic Site, a UNESCO World Heritage location that was once a major 16th-century Basque whaling station with a lot of historical significance.

L'Anse au Clair to St. Anthony
Back to Newfoundland now, where you'll check out L'Anse aux Meadows National Historic Site, the first cultural UNESCO site in the region. You'll learn about the Vikings who came here over a thousand years ago, then continue to St. Anthony for the evening.

- Day 5
St. Anthony to Cow Head
An included whale-watching boat tour gets you out on the water looking for minke whales, humpbacks, and white-sided dolphins with coastal views all around (weather dependent). If you're visiting in early summer, watch the coastline for icebergs. After that, you'll head back through Gros Morne toward Cow Head.

Gros Morne National Park
A scenic boat tour on Bonne Bay lets you see bald eagles flying above the fjord while exploring UNESCO-listed Gros Morne. You'll also visit the Tablelands, a flat-topped mountain formation that's pretty unusual because this type of rock normally sits deep within the Earth's mantle. There's an alternative option for the Western Brook Pond boat tour and Broom Point Fishing Premises if you arrange it in advance.

Traveling through Central Newfoundland brings you to Gander, the town behind the Broadway musical 'Come From Away'. You'll learn about the local hospitality after September 11, 2001, when 38 planes unexpectedly landed there. The North Atlantic Aviation Museum has exhibits showing Gander's role in transatlantic aviation history.

Gander to Clarenville
The route follows Notre Dame Bay's rugged coastline to Twillingate, where you can check out the Long Point Lighthouse and Prime Berth Fishery & Heritage Centre. You'll pass through Terra Nova National Park on the way to Clarenville, so keep your camera ready for any wildlife you spot.

Clarenville to Bonavista to Trinity
This day trip covers two historic towns. Bonavista is where John Cabot arrived in 1497, and you'll see Cape Bonavista Lighthouse Provincial Historic Site to learn about lighthouse keeper history. Then it's on to Trinity with free time to walk around and see the well-preserved 18th-century buildings before returning to Clarenville.

Clarenville to St. John's
You'll reach St. John's, North America's oldest city and Newfoundland's capital, sitting beautifully among granite cliffs on the Avalon Peninsula. An included city tour covers Victorian downtown architecture, the modern waterfront, Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, Confederation Building, and views from Signal Hill.
