Madrid to Pamplona
Head north through Spain, first stopping in Burgos to check out the medieval town square. From there, continue to Pamplona where you'll get a quick orientation before having free time to wander around this well-preserved town on your own.

Pamplona to Bilbao to San Sebastián to Pamplona
After breakfast, travel to Bilbao to spend time at the Museo Guggenheim and see the city's surrounding areas. Later you'll head to San Sebastian, where you can walk the cobbled streets, shop, or sit in a bar trying pintxos (Basque tapas). You'll return to Pamplona for the night.
