- AAnonymous· August 22nd, 2024The tour I did wasn’t listed, but I travelled throughout Morocco with Luke and it was a blast! He is knowledgeable, unflappable, and brings a lot of fun to the tour! I appreciated his kind concern for everyone on the tour and he went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed every minute!Show moreTrip date: August 2024

- Cristy· June 2nd, 2024Gustavo was an amazing guide & I would like to take another tour with him in the future. The itinerary was good but I would suggest eliminating the stop at Andorra & arriving 1 day earlier in Barcelona. Having just 1 day in Barcelona is not enough to properly enjoy it.Show moreTrip date: May 2024
- NICHOLAS SHU RONG· June 1st, 2024My wife and I had an amazing time, the content of the tour was amazing for such a short period of time. And our guide Gustavo and our driver Vincent were excellent hosts. They made our stay hassle free, instructions were clear and the journey was smooth sailing all the way. - JBJesse· April 22nd, 2024Gustavo, our guide, was excellent. I could not imagine a more caring and competent guide. Our driver, Joao, was also superb. My only mild complaint was that the amount of walking required for the tour was INTENSE, and we should have been made more clearly aware of that prior to purchasing the trip. Also, hotels were very far removed from the important sites in the cities, and thus the traveler was "trapped" into staying with the group at all times or else it would be necessary to pay an expensive cab ride to go your separate way. However, all in all, the tour was an excellent experience, and I will treasure memories from it for the rest of my lifeShow moreTrip date: April 2024
- BJBarry· October 2nd, 2023Tour good and visited some great places. However driving for about 12 hours to reach a city and then only having a 1 hour city tour is not good enough. These tours are better if they don’t do as much long distance travel but spend more time at the destination. Asked on May 23rd, 2025Will the same tour guide and group stay together throughout, or will the guide change and people join or leave during the trip? As a solo traveler, I would like to hace the shared room. Also, what time does the tour usually begin on the first day, around what time? On the last day, what time does the tour officially end—approximately?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written May 2025
Tour Guide & Group: You'll have the same tour guide throughout the entire trip. This helps create a more personal and cohesive experience. As for your fellow travelers, while most people stay for the full journey, some may join or leave at different points depending on their own travel plans and preferences. It keeps the group dynamic fun and flexible! Solo Travelers & Rooming: As a solo traveler, you'll be paired with another guest of the same gender in a twin room—at no extra cost. It's a great way to make a new friend and keep your travel budget in check! If you'd prefer a bit more privacy, you can always opt for a private room by adding a single supplement when you book (subject to availability). Tour Timing: On the first day, the tour typically starts around 10:00 AM. On the last day, it usually wraps up between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM—perfect timing if you're planning onward travel in the evening.

Traveler•Written May 2025Would it be possible to know the name of the hotel where we will be staying on the first and last day of the tour? This would help me estimate the travel time to and from the airport. Also, would it be possible to book an extra night at these hotels? Since the tour starts on August 24, I would be interested in staying the night of August 23. Likewise, I would like to know if it's possible to stay an extra night on August 30. Could you please let me know if this is possible and how much each night would cost individually?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written May 2025
The provisional meeting and ending hotel is Zleep Hotel Madrid Airport. Please note the above is provisional and subject to change. Regrettably, we are unable to assist in reserving pre and post-accommodation. You can use this Booking.com link for your reservations. If you're new to the platform, it's user-friendly, providing a comprehensive overview of local hotels with competitive prices.

Asked on February 10th, 2025What hotel is meeting point in Madrid on Day 1 for the 7-day taster of Spain
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written February 2025
At this stage, the departure is too far in advance for us to give you a confirmed starting hotel. Due to the fact that our hotels are subject to change, we do not provide inaccurate information beforehand to minimize any confusion that may be caused. We therefore suggest reaching out roughly 90 days prior for this information.

Asked on August 26th, 2024We would like to end the tour in Valencia and not continue back to Madrid. Is that possible and what would the cost be without an extra day of travel and hotel? We want to go in March, 2025.
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written August 2024
We understand that travel plans can sometimes require adjustments. You are welcome to shorten your trip. Please let us know as soon as possible so we can inform our operations team. Also, please notify your tour leader about your early departure while on the tour. While we can accommodate your early departure, please note that we are unable to offer discounts for the parts of the tour you will miss, as our tours are sold as complete packages with set itineraries.

Asked on July 15th, 2024Do you think it wise to put your travelers in Barcelona? There appears to be a LOT of protests by locals about tourism and what it is doing to the locals.
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written July 2024
Our Team constantly monitors the situation in the places that our tours visit. We always prioritize our customers' safety and make sure that they are not placed in any risks. If needed, our Team will make revisions to the itinerary to avoid areas that may be too risky or cancel the tour ultimately if it is deemed too inoperable due to the conflicts. If that will be the case for any tour that a customer books, we offer them options.
