Waren or Klink
Your trip starts when you arrive in Waren or Klink, two gateways to the lake region. Take time to walk around town and get oriented, checking out the cafes and shops nestled between the harbor and the old town center. Settle into your accommodation and grab dinner at one of the local restaurants to ease into your cycling adventure.

- Day 2
Waren to Neustrelitz
This morning you'll cycle about 55 km through Müritz National Park, staying close to the eastern shore of the lake. The route takes you through forests and meadows as you make your way to Neustrelitz, a former royal residence. You'll notice the landscape shift from wooded areas to more open spaces, and by evening you'll be settled in this historic town.

Neustrelitz to Kleinzerlang/Rheinsberg/Canow/Grünplan
After exploring Neustrelitz in the morning, you'll head out on another 55 km day, this time cycling through a network of smaller lakes heading south. The route brings you toward Wesenberg and the Havel-Müritz waterway area, where you'll start seeing more water traffic and lock systems along the route. The scenery here includes more open water views mixed with forested sections.

Landmarks Havel-Müritz Waterway Wesenberg - Day 4
Wesenberg Area to Röbel
Today's ride follows the Havel waterway back toward Müritz, and you'll watch boats moving through the locks as you cycle. There's an optional stop at the 3-Königinnen-Palais if history interests you. The landscape opens up along the western bank of Müritz, and you'll end in Röbel after covering 45 to 58 km depending on which stops you choose.

Röbel to Plau am See
You'll cycle about 40 km from Müritz toward Lake Plau today, following the Mecklenburg Lake Cycle Path. Along the way there's a chance to visit the largest bear forest in Central Europe if you want to see brown bears in large forest enclosures (optional). From there, continue along the western side of Lake Plau to reach the town of Plau, which has half-timbered houses and sits along the Elde river.

Plau am See to Waren/Klink
This longer day covers around 61 km as you cycle around Lake Plau's northern tip toward Alt Schwerin. You can stop at the Agroneum to learn about the region's farming history if you're interested. After that, you'll pass through Schwinz Heath and reach Malchow, an island town, then continue through the Fleesensee vacation region. The final stretch brings you past Sietow's quiet harbor before you return to Waren via the Müritz circular route, passing Klink Castle and finding swimming spots along the way.
