Can we be picked up from Düsternbrook and dropped in Swakop after the tour?

Yes confirmed, you can be picked up from Düsternbrook and you will be required to pay extra NAD 1500 to allow us to pick you from there. And yes you can be dropped in Swakop after the tour.

Is there a choice of lodges? Is so which ones? Or the name of the only lodge you use?

The tour guide was pleasant company, very experienced, and well organized. The hotel was nice and the lodge was very nice. However, you should be aware that the trip takes you through remote areas in Africa and that food and accommodation cannot always be measured by European standards, no matter what you have paid for the booking

We had a great time and Lucas was knowledgable and conscientious, accommodating us wherever possible. The few quibbles were minor, more or less expected and probably unavoidable. There was a great deal of driving to get to the locations and, because I just had a total knee replacement a bit cramped in the pickup truck. Because of extensive rain the animals in Etosha were more dispersed so we probably saw fewer than otherwise. Not your fault, of course and still good. Thank you.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before September 10th, 2025 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after September 10th, 2025, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Discovery Transfers and Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 40 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Discovery Transfers and Tours will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Discovery Transfers and Tours" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
