My guide Cornell had a wide knowledge of history, not only of the sights, but also of Romania which was so interesting. He was punctual, a safe, careful driver and had a good sense of humour. Thanks Cornell, you made my tour truly memorable. The hotels were all of a similar standard and were clean, comfortable and the staff were very helpful.Show more

Group sizes for each departure: 13 September: 19 people, 20 September: 15 people, 4 October: 4 people. Lunches are included from day 2 to day 7, with a typical dinner on day 4. You can add dinners for days 2, 3, 5, 6, and 7 for an additional fee. Day 1 dinner is not included as participants arrive at different times.

For this tour it is not possible to upgrade to 5* for several reason: - we do not have 5* hotels in cities/villages such as Piatra Neamt, Sadova - it involves extra work for the guide and the driver, it will slow down the main group and we would like to avoid any complaint on this topic - the rates we negociated with our suppliers (hotels, guides, drivers) are based on the fact that all the participants to the tour should stay in the same hotel. We can quote you separately, as private tour, based on the same itinerary including accommodation in a 5* star hotels.
