Itinerary
- Day 1
Las Vegas to Page
You'll get picked up from the Palms Casino at 7:15 am and head into Utah toward Zion National Park. The drive takes a few hours, but once you arrive, you're surrounded by those massive red and pink sandstone cliffs that the Virgin River carved out over time. There's plenty to do here - you can tackle trails like Emerald Pools if you're up for hiking, or check out the Human History Museum to learn about the area. Spend your afternoon exploring at your own pace, then drive to your accommodation in Page near Lake Powell. The whole day involves quite a bit of driving, so you'll want to settle in early.
Included Activities

- Visit Human History Museum at Zion National Park
- Ranger talk at Zion National Park
Optional Activities
- Emerald Pools Trail hike

- Day 2
Monument Valley & Horseshoe Bend
This day focuses on some of the region's most recognizable spots. You'll pass by Lake Powell and have the option to stop at Antelope Canyon if that interests you. From there, head to Monument Valley where you'll hop into a 4x4 jeep for an included safari through the landscape you've probably seen in old Western films. After that experience, drive to Horseshoe Bend for a walk to where the Colorado River makes that dramatic curve around the rock formation. By evening you'll return to Page. The combination of activities means you're on the move most of the day, but you're seeing a lot of different terrain.
Included Activities

- Walk to Horseshoe Bend
Optional Activities
- Antelope Canyon Navajo guided tour (USD $90-$100 per person)

Start by visiting a traditional Navajo trading post, then follow the Colorado River through the Painted Desert as you head toward the Grand Canyon. Once you reach Grand Canyon National Park, you have options - walk along the rim if you feel like hiking, or just grab a coffee from one of the cafes and take in the views from different vantage points. After spending time at the canyon, you'll make a quick stop at a historic Route 66 town on the drive back to Las Vegas. You should arrive back between 7 and 8 PM, wrapping up your Southwest adventure.
