Itinerary
- Day 1
Cancun to Merida
You'll leave your Cancun hotel and head to Uxmal, one of the major Mayan archaeological sites from the Classic Period. Once there, you'll walk through the ruins and learn about the structures. After that, grab lunch at a local restaurant before moving on to Merida. When you arrive, someone will give you a quick overview of Plaza Grande, and then you'll check into your hotel for the night.

Landmarks/POIs Uxmal Plaza Grande - Day 2
Izamal - Chichen Itza
Start with breakfast at the hotel, then check out and spend time touring Merida. From there, you'll head to Izamal, a town founded in 1553 with a large Franciscan convent built on top of a pre-Hispanic platform. The convent is dedicated to Saint Anthony of Padua and has one of the world's largest atriums. Later, you'll get to Chichen Itza where a certified guide takes you through the main structures, including the Castle, Ball Court, Sacred Cenote, and Observatory. The guide will explain the history and significance of each place within Maya civilization.
