The English spoken by the ships entertainment/tour guide was less than satisfactory. Poor on most occassions with evry little commentary/explanation to the English guests. My assessment is not to travel on this ship if you are English speaking only and hope to have a meaningful communication experienceShow more

The biggest challenge as an English speaker was the language barrier, although the crew included English following speaking to the French passengers, there was always something missing in translation. The food was good, but a very limited selection. No snacks were provided or available on the ship between meals. The biggest hassle was having to leave the ship to travel in buses and staying in hotels after the navigation of the river was stopped due to flooding. The internet has not worked properly for the past 3 days, very erratic. They advertise internet is available but not usable as lots of dropouts. We try to be as accommodating as possible to allow all of our travellers the opportunity to join this cruise. Regarding having a walker on board, we will need to know the dimensions to check if it will fit in the corridors and doors. Likewise, are you able to use the stairs? The reason being that some ships don't have elevator, and the sun deck is always only accessible through stairs. Also, some shore excursions might be limited, as you need to be able to hop on a coach and walking is required.
