Itinerary
- Day 1
Aveiro
You'll arrive in Aveiro and check into your hotel. If you get there early enough, the indoor pool is available for a quick swim. Around 6pm, you'll meet your tour leader and the rest of the group for dinner to start things off.

- Day 2
Aveiro - Ovar - Aveiro
After heading to Cais do Bico quay, you'll board a traditional moliceiro gondola-style boat and spend two hours sailing through the channels and islands of Ria de Aveiro. The route takes you to Ovar where you'll have lunch, then you'll take a guided walk through the city following the Azulejo Route to see colorful 19th and 20th-century tile-covered buildings. You'll stop at a pão de ló workshop to taste and learn about this famous Portuguese sponge cake before heading back to your hotel.

Figueira da Foz - Viseu
You'll transfer to Figueira da Foz for a guided tour of the salt flats with a marnoto, a local salt harvester who'll show you traditional hand-made saliculture techniques from the 12th century. Lunch is a relaxing picnic at a converted farmhouse with wood-fired oven cooking and regional specialties. Later you'll transfer to Viseu where you can either spend the afternoon at the hotel pool and spa or walk around the hilltop city.

Viseu - S\u00e3o Pedro do Sul
Start with a guided 90-minute to two-hour tour of Viseu's highlights including the cathedral and Solar do Vinho do Dão wine headquarters. Then you'll head to Quinta Da Comenda, an organic farm that's been operating without synthetic pesticides since 1987. You'll tour the farm with the owners, have a picnic lunch with local specialties and wine tasting, then return to your hotel with free time for the rest of the afternoon.

Viseu - Douro - Pinh\u00e3o - Lamego
You'll leave Viseu and transfer to the Douro Valley, one of Portugal's main wine-making regions. First you'll visit the Douro Museum located in a converted wine warehouse that covers the region's wine production history. After that you'll board a scenic train from Régua to Pinhão with time for lunch, traveling past terraced vineyards, historic wine estates and grand manors along the Douro River. In Pinhão you can optionally take a boat ride or walk by the river, then transfer to your hotel for dinner featuring Douro specialties.

Lamego - Raposeira
You'll explore Lamego, a historic town in the Alto Douro region, checking out Lamego Castle, the 12th-century cathedral, and the ornate Nossa Senhora dos Remédios Sanctuary with its baroque staircase of 686 steps. After that you'll head to the village of Raposeira for a light lunch and wine tasting. The rest of your afternoon is free to enjoy the hotel facilities.

This morning you'll transfer to Porto for a guided tour of the historic center, visiting São Bento Station and the iconic double-deck Luís I Bridge crossing the Douro River. You'll have lunch, then check into your hotel and explore at your own pace. Options include a boat tour, visiting Palácio da Bolsa, or having coffee at the Belle Époque Majestic Café (opened 1922). At 7pm you'll gather for a farewell dinner celebrating everything you've experienced together.
