- Day 1
Madrid
You'll arrive in Madrid and check into your hotel, then have the rest of the day at your own pace. Later, a transfer takes you to Plaza Mayor and La Latina, where nightlife kicks off and you can grab tapas. There's a good mix of restaurants around, from Indian and Chinese to Spanish and Middle Eastern options, so you'll find something you like for dinner.

- Day 2
Madrid
This morning starts with a comprehensive tour through central Madrid, hitting Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, Puerta de Alcalá, Plaza de Colón, and Plaza Mayor. After that, head to Retiro Park to walk around the lake and see Palacio de Cristal. Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, home of Real Madrid, is next on the itinerary. You'll have the afternoon free to do your own thing, then a transfer gets you back to your hotel by evening.

- Day 3
Madrid to Barcelona
The route takes you through Castile toward Aragon, with a stop in Zaragoza to see the Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar. From there, continue to Poblet Abbey, one of the best-preserved medieval monasteries in Europe. Later in the day you'll head toward Barcelona, arriving in the evening after the journey through the countryside.

- Day 4
Barcelona to Girona
Barcelona's the focus today with its modernist architecture, the busy Ramblas, and historical sites throughout the city. In the evening, you'll head north into Catalonia and walk through Girona's historic center, checking out the colorful houses and old Jewish quarter. The impressive cathedral is there too before you settle into your hotel for the night.

- Day 5
Girona to Chambéry
Early on you'll cross into France through Provence, stopping in Arles, a UNESCO World Heritage city with strong Van Gogh connections. You'll see the Roman theater and Romanesque churches with time to look around and eat lunch. Carrières des Lumières, an underground art experience in an ancient quarry with projected images and sound, comes next. By evening you'll arrive in Chambéry, a medieval city and former capital of Savoy with a historic center and large castle to explore.

Chambéry to Leysin
You're heading to Switzerland and arrive in Geneva. Start with Palais des Nations, the European headquarters of the United Nations, then walk through the English Garden to see the famous flower clock. The Jet d'Eau, Europe's tallest fountain, is nearby. Later you'll reach Gruyères, known for its cheese, and stop at Maison Cailler Chocolate Factory to taste some chocolate. From there, travel through Alpine scenery to Chillon Castle on Lake Geneva before arriving in Leysin, a holiday village with views of the Rhône Valley and Mont Blanc.

- Day 7
Leysin to Zurich
Alpine scenery is on full display today. A cable car takes you up to Glacier 3000, one of Switzerland's top spots with ice and snow year-round. You can walk on the suspended bridge between peaks, check out the Ice Cathedral, or spend time in the Fun Park. By afternoon you'll be in Interlaken for lunch, then it's on to Lucerne. You'll reach Zurich in the evening with time to explore the center before heading to your hotel.

Paris
Today focuses on French culture and history. The Palace of Versailles is first, with access to its gardens so you can spend time there. Paris to Rouen

Around 4:00 p.m., head out toward Normandy and arrive in Rouen. You'll have free time in this historic city with Roman roots and medieval architecture, including a notable Gothic cathedral.

Around 4:00 p.m., head to Colchester, England's oldest recorded town, for a leisurely walk through its historic streets. Later you'll travel to Harwich to board the ferry for an overnight voyage to the Netherlands, staying in en suite cabins.

Netherlands - Amsterdam
