Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival
You'll be taken to your hotel when you arrive, so settle in and get comfortable. Spend the afternoon resting if you'd like, then check with the front desk about where and when your tour begins tomorrow. They'll have all the details posted on the information boards.
- Day 2
Barcelona to Girona
This morning starts with a tour of Barcelona where you'll see Gaudí's architecture, walk down the busy Ramblas, and learn about the city's history from the Universal Exposition and Olympics. Later you'll head north into Catalonia to Girona, wandering through its old center with colorful houses, the historic Jewish quarter, and the cathedral before your evening wraps up.

Provence to Chambéry
You're heading through Provence to Arles, which sits as a UNESCO site known for Roman ruins and Van Gogh's time there. Before lunch you'll check out the Roman theater and Romanesque churches. After that comes the Carrières des Lumières with its underground art exhibition. The day ends in Chambéry where you can see the medieval castle and historic architecture of this old Savoy capital.

Geneva to Leysin
Travel into Switzerland and Geneva with your guide, stopping at the Palais des Nations (UN building), the English Garden with its flower clock, and the Jet d'Eau fountain. From there you'll go to Gruyères for the famous cheese, then tour the Maison Cailler chocolate factory for tasting. After passing through mountain scenery, Chillon Castle overlooks Lake Geneva before you reach Leysin with views of the Rhône Valley and Mont Blanc. Dinner's included.

Glacier 3000 to Zurich
Today brings Alpine scenery as you take a cable car up to Glacier 3000, where you can walk the suspended bridge between peaks, see the Ice Cathedral, or try the Fun Park. Later you'll stop in Interlaken for lunch, then continue to Lucerne and into Zurich. You'll have time to explore Zurich's center before checking into your hotel.

Paris
Start at the Palace of Versailles with its gardens, then return to Paris for Montmartre, the neighborhood known for artists and cabarets. A guide will take you on a panoramic tour showing off the major avenues and monuments around the city. Back at your hotel, there's an optional evening show if you're interested.

Paris to Rouen
Begin at the Eiffel Tower with access to the second floor, then take a boat cruise on the Seine. You'll have the afternoon free to explore Paris however you'd like. Around 4:00 p.m. you'll head toward Normandy, arriving in Rouen where you can walk through the historic center and see the Roman heritage, medieval buildings, and Gothic cathedral.

After exploring Rouen's center this morning, you'll travel north and take the ferry across the English Channel to Canterbury, England's religious hub with its charming old town. Continuing on to London, you'll have free time around Tower Bridge before heading to your hotel for the night.

London
A local guide takes you around London on a panoramic tour showing Parliament, the River Thames, and Buckingham Palace where you might see the Changing of the Guard depending on when you visit. By evening you'll meet at Piccadilly to walk through Leicester Square, Chinatown, and Soho with their theaters and restaurants. Pick somewhere for dinner before returning to your hotel.
