You'll arrive in Amsterdam and have time to settle in at your own pace. This evening, you'll meet your Travel Director and the rest of the group for dinner and wine at a local restaurant. After dinner, you'll take a scenic cruise along the tree-lined canals through the Old City, seeing the neighborhoods from the water.

Amsterdam to Heidelberg
You'll travel from Amsterdam into Germany and board a midday Rhine cruise departing from Boppard heading toward Sankt Goar. Along the way, you'll pass the legendary Lorelei Rock and enjoy a wine tasting on board. Later, you'll arrive in Heidelberg where a Local Expert guides you through the romantic university town's cobbled lanes and historic old quarter.

You'll cross the Italian border and travel through the Dolomites, passing alpine villages and vineyards. You'll arrive in Venice, then gather with your Travel Director and group for dinner.

Venice
You'll start the morning visiting a traditional glassblowing workshop to see master artisans at work. The rest of the day is yours to explore, or you can take an optional cruise to Burano island for local specialties and wine.

Rome
A Local Expert will guide you through the Vatican Museums where you'll see priceless art and the masterpieces of the Sistine Chapel.
