- Day 1CasablancaYour Morocco adventure kicks off with a welcome meeting at 6 pm in Casablanca. If you're arriving early, there's plenty to check out before then. The art deco architecture gives the city a distinct character, and the Hassan II Mosque is worth seeing with its location right by the ocean. Wander through the old medina to get a feel for traditional Moroccan life, then head to Quartiers des Habous for something a bit different. As evening comes, take a walk along the Corniche where you'll find locals playing football or hanging out at cafes with a nice sea breeze. Optional Activities- Explore Hassan II Mosque

- Day 2Casablanca to Tangier to ChefchaouenThe TGV fast train takes you north to Tangier on the coast, and your leader will guide an orientation walk once you arrive. You'll have free time to explore the town at your own pace, so head to Café Hafa for mint tea and views across toward Gibraltar if that appeals to you. After lunch, it's a transfer inland to Chefchaouen up in the Rif Mountains. An orientation walk helps you get oriented, and later you'll head up to a sunset viewpoint where you can see the whole town spread out below you as the light changes. - Day 3ChefchaouenToday is yours to spend however you like in Chefchaouen. A guided medina tour can give you context for what you're seeing, or you can wander on your own. Grab fresh orange juice at Plaza Uta el-Hammam, or if you're up for something more active, hike out to Akchour Falls in the hills surrounding town. By evening you could try a traditional tagine at a local restaurant, or if you want to relax, visit a hammam for the full experience. The pace is completely up to you. - Day 4Chefchaouen to Volubilis to FesRolling hills and olive groves lead you to Volubilis, an important Roman archaeological site. A local guide walks you through the ruins, and you'll see impressive mosaics along what was the main street of the old town. From there it's a drive to Fes, which is considered the spiritual and cultural heart of Morocco, and you'll be staying here for two nights. Your evening is free, so you can settle in and explore nearby streets or just rest after traveling. Included Activities- Volubilis archaeological site entrance and guided tour

- Day 5FesA guided group tour takes you through Fes el Bali, the Old City, where the medieval medina is basically a maze of narrow streets packed with craftsmen, markets, tanneries, and mosques. You'll see Medersa Bou Inania and Medresse el Attarine, which are beautifully decorated, and check out Funduk Nejjarine. The famous tannery dye pits are something else to see, and a ceramics factory shows traditional potters at work. Dinner features Moroccan specialties like harira soup and chicken-stuffed pastillas with couscous. - Meals

- Day 6Fes to MerzougaHeading south toward the Sahara, you'll pass through countryside with local kasbahs and palmeries along the way. Towns like Erfoud and Rissani have their own character, and you might see nomads moving through with their animals. By late afternoon you reach Merzouga at the edge of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. After storing your main luggage at the camp, you'll get on a camel for a sunset ride across the dunes. The night is spent in a desert camp where you can see stars everywhere and enjoy a homecooked meal cooked over a fire. - Meals

- Day 7Merzouga to Todra GorgeWake early to watch the sun come up over the Sahara from a nearby dune, then eat a traditional breakfast. The drive takes you to Todra Gorge with a stop at the oasis museum at El Khorbat to learn more about the region. Moving into the Todra Valley, you'll see mud-brick villages perched on the hillsides in remarkable positions. A short walk through the farmland around here shows you the green valleys and rock formations carved by wind and water over time. - Meals

- Day 8Todra GorgeThis is a free day in the Todra Valley, and a guided hike through the gorge is definitely worth doing if you're able. The popular 10 km circuit takes around 4 hours and requires moderate fitness as it goes over a nearby mountain pass. You'll walk through Amazigh villages and meet local people, and if you're interested, you can join local women for lunch in their mudbrick kasbah to see how people actually live. If hiking doesn't appeal, the hotel pool has great views over the palmeries and cliff faces for a more relaxed day. Optional Activities- Full day gorge hike and mountain pass circuit (10 km, approximately 4 hours)

 Landmarks/POIs Todra Gorge Rose Valley 
- Day 9Todra Gorge to Ait BenhaddouTraveling south means passing former kasbah ruins, old military outposts, mountains, and palm-filled valleys. Lunch stops in Ouarzazate, which is famous for filming movies like Lawrence of Arabia, and if there's time you can visit the atlas movie studios. Later you arrive at Ait Benhaddou, an ancient caravan stop that's a UNESCO World Heritage site because of its clay architecture. Your leader tours the kasbah with you, and dinner is couscous and tagine prepared by your guesthouse host. - Meals

- Day 10Ait Benhaddou to ImlilYou'll cross the Tizi n'Tichka Pass at 2,260 metres through snow-capped mountains and flowering valleys leading to Toubkal National Park in the High Atlas Mountains. Reaching the rural village of Imlil, you store main luggage and load a daypack onto a pack mule for trekking. From there it's a trek to Aroumd, a peaceful village sitting on a rocky outcrop far from modern conveniences. Spending the night in a family-run mountain gite at the foot of Mount Toubkal means experiencing Amazigh culture directly, with the smell of woodstove fires and home-cooked food. - Day 11Aroumd to Sidi Chamharouch to EssaouiraAn early hike from Imlil takes you through outlying villages to Sidi Chamharouch, a pilgrimage site where there's a waterfall and stream. You'll explore rural villages on twisting mule tracks under tall cliffs, then settle in for a slow-cooked tagine lunch with views of the Atlas Mountains. After resting and talking with locals, it's a hike back to Aroumd. Later the same day you travel to Essaouira on the Atlantic coast, a town with sandstone walkways, whitewashed houses, beaches and dunes. Spend evening at a cafe or having fresh seafood dinner by the water. - Meals

- Day 12EssaouiraA local guide takes you through the old medina, the Jewish mellah, the port, and the Skala sea wall. At the port you'll meet a fisherman who explains traditional fishing methods, what changes with seasons, and their craft itself. Free time lets you browse the narrow car-free streets, shops, art galleries, and discover burled Thuya wood inlays in various forms. Grab fresh-caught seafood for lunch. Later you can relax at your accommodation or try a traditional hammam if that sounds appealing. Included Activities- Guided walking tour through old medina, Jewish mellah, port, and Skala

- Day 13Essaouira to MarrakechAfter breakfast, a shared local bus takes you to Marrakech, an ancient city where European modernity meets tradition. A walking tour through the medina lets you meet shop owners and craftsmen while learning how to navigate the zigzagging lanes. Along the way, sample local snacks like Moroccan doughnuts, mint tea, bread, olives, nuts, dates, orange juice, and harira soup. The spice markets hit all the senses with their scents and colors, plus you'll hear musicians and feel the textures of carpets in perfumed gardens. Tonight join the crowds at Djemaa el-Fna Square for dinner surrounded by henna painters, performers, and storytellers, trying local snail soup and finishing with tea in a rooftop restaurant. - Meals

- Day 14MarrakechMarrakech is yours to explore today without a set itinerary. Wander through the souqs, each one dedicated to a separate trade like pottery, woodwork, copper, leather, carpets, or spices. Watch skilled artisans work, practice haggling if you want, or share a tagine with people you've met. The Koutoubia Mosque has a 12th-century minaret that inspired Seville's Giralda, or head to Majorelle Gardens which Yves Saint Laurent owned, or check out Palais Bahia for Muslim architecture. This evening you'll probably return to Djemaa el-Fna and its medina for a farewell dinner at an outdoor restaurant. Optional Activities- Koutoubia Mosque and minaret visit
