- Day 1
Arrival in Podgorica to Kolasin
Your guide meets you in Podgorica and drives through the Moraca Gorge toward Kolasin. You'll stop at the 13th century Moraca Monastery to see the frescoes and learn about this Serbian Orthodox spiritual center. The drive takes you through scenic mountain passes before arriving in Kolasin, a town sitting at 954 meters and serving as your gateway to Biogradska Gora National Park.

Kolasin to Novi Pazar (Serbia)
After breakfast, you head north into Serbia to visit Studenica Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most significant Serbian Orthodox monasteries. Your guide walks you through this important spiritual location. From there, you'll drive through the Lim and Ibar river valleys and arrive in Novi Pazar, a historic trading town with Ottoman heritage and medieval monasteries scattered throughout the region.

Novi Pazar to Mokra Gora (Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina)
The drive takes you across the Peschter plateau in southern Serbia, then into Bosnia-Herzegovina to reach Visegrad. You'll see the famous Stari Most bridge from the Ottoman era, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that inspired Ivo Andric's novel 'The Bridge over the Drina'. After exploring the town, you'll head back into Serbia and visit Mokra Gora, where you can check out the Etno Selo village built for filmmaker Emir Kusturica.

Mokra Gora to Kolasin (Serbia to Montenegro)
After breakfast, you'll spend the morning on the narrow-gauge Šarganska osmica railroad for a round-trip journey through mountain terrain, climbing 240 meters over 3 km through the Šargan Pass. Later, you'll drive to Uzice and Prijepolje, cross back into Montenegro, and arrive in Kolasin for the night.

- Day 5
Kolasin to Zabljak (Durmitor National Park)
You drive through the Tara Gorge, Europe's longest and deepest gorge, with dramatic views throughout. At the Tara Bridge you can stop for photos and grab lunch by the river. In the afternoon you'll reach Zabljak, Montenegro's main ski resort, located in Durmitor National Park. A short trip takes you to Black Lake, the largest of the park's 18 glacial lakes.

- Day 6
Zabljak to Petrovac (via Lake Shkodra)
You'll visit Ostrog Monastery, an important Orthodox pilgrimage site, and tour the 17th century church. Later you drive to Rijeka Crnojevica on the river leading to Lake Shkodra. A 2-hour boat trip takes you across the lake to Virpazar, where you'll have local wine, schnapps, cheese, and traditional fried doughnuts. Your driver meets you in Virpazar and takes you to Petrovac.

Petrovac to Bay of Kotor
On the way to the Bay of Kotor, you stop in Cetinje, Montenegro's former capital, for a tour of the city and King Nikola Petrovic's palace. In the mountain village of Njegusi you'll taste regional ham and cheese. Then you wind down to Kotor and explore the old town with its Venetian walls, St. Triphun's Cathedral, and Maritime Museum. A short boat trip takes you to Gospa island to see the 15th century baroque church before returning to Petrovac.

Petrovac to Tirana (Montenegro to Albania)
You cross into Albania at Sukobin and drive to Tirana, the capital located about 30 km from the coast at the foot of the Dajti Mountains. After arrival you'll get a panoramic drive through the city and explore sites like the Palace of Culture, the opera, the Ethem Bey Mosque, and the National Museum (admission included), depending on your arrival time.

Tirana to Durres (Albania)
You visit Durres, home to one of the largest seaports in the region with a natural harbor used since ancient times. You'll explore the remains of the largest amphitheater in the Balkans, Roman thermal baths, and the archaeological museum. After seeing the Byzantine and Roman history, you'll have time to relax on the sandy beaches.

Durres to Petrovac (Albania and Montenegro)
You return to Montenegro with a stop in Shkodra, an old trading town historically connected to Dubrovnik. You'll see a 19th century Catholic church, a 17th century mosque, and visit the Rosafa fortress for views of the Drim River and Shkodra town. In the afternoon you cross back into Montenegro to explore Ulcinj, the southernmost town and one of the oldest Adriatic settlements, before returning to Petrovac.
