- RGRobin· August 4th, 2024I like to being able to see both the national parks and some cities. They appreciated that it was the best of California and not just one section. However, I think it would’ve been nice to spend a little more time in the cities as it seemed like we didn’t get enough of time there. There’s only one thing I really didn’t like, which was the fact that we had to buy all of our lunches, with the exception of the two that were provided. Did with another company all the meals were provided for. Which means we paid for them upfront, didn’t have to worry about buying them every day.Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewThank you so much for sharing your feedback, Robin. - AElle Monnard· June 22nd, 2022Just perfect! I got to know so many nice people and doing a trip like this together was a perfect opportunity. The best way to travel, especially as a solo traveler, even if you?re underaged and everything is already organised. The National Parks were just amazing so far, I really enjoyed it!Show moreTrip date: June 2022Review collected by G Adventures

Asked on December 27th, 2024What kind of vehicle do you use for transportation?
- G AdventuresOperator•Written December 2024
We have air-conditioned private vehicles, then the trip will also include hiking and walking. For this trip we use 15-passenger vans for up to 14 people plus the CEO/Driver. These vans are durable vehicles that allow us to drive on most types of roads in North America. Each van has a front passenger seat and 4 benches that will accommodate 3 people each with mandatory seat belts to keep us secure and safe. No standing is permitted in these vehicles.

The start hotel we currently use is Golden Nugget Las Vegas, and yes, the tour ends at LAX airport.

Asked on October 5th, 2022Do you have the option to upgrade and choose a private room for an additional cost?
- G AdventuresOperator•Written October 2022
We do not charge a mandatory single supplement, as you would be sharing with another solo traveller of the same gender in the group. If you would prefer to upgrade to the optional My Own Room supplement, you can anticipate approximately USD $1299.00 in addition to the base rate, but we would need to know your departure date to properly quote.

Asked on May 9th, 2022Tour says suitable to 99 however it mentions hiking and walking...I am not 99 but someone with back and leg problems; can't walk more than 200-300 meters on flat surface without getting cramps. Should I not considered this tour?
- G AdventuresOperator•Written May 2022
This tour has a lot of walking and included hikes as well as optional hikes which are highlights of the trip. It involves walking for distances quite a bit longer than 200-300 m and are not flat surfaces due to the nature of this region/area. I recommend taking a look through the itinerary in detail before booking this one as it is a level 3/5 on the physical rating level and our tours overall are quite active.

Asked on March 29th, 2022Is this trip still available if yes, I need to ask some questions.
- G AdventuresOperator•Written March 2022
Best of California really is a great trip with a good mix of time in nature and the city. You do spend some time in San Francisco and you could always depart a day later to be able to explore LA. There are plenty of day tours out there.
