All in all, the tour was good and interesting. We saw many nice places. However, the driving hours were sometimes quite long and the planned schedule when the lunch should take place and how many hours we had for sightseeing could often not be followed. The driver was also our guide. He was a really good driver but as guide he could be a bit more communicative. However he made good inputs in changing some points on the itinerary. We had local guides only in Ohrid, Skopje (North Macedonia) and Kotor (Montenegro). It would have been nice to also have local guides in the capital city in Kosovo (Pristina) or in Prizren and a local guide in Podgorica. Our Guide had good knowledge in Albania but for the other countries it would have been nice to get more inputs/information from a local guide.

My wife and I chose the self drive option and it was the best decision for us. The car was great, and having the freedom to stop wherever we wanted. What made it perfect was arriving in a complex city like Sarajevo and having a wonderful local guide waiting for us to show us the Baščaršija and the Tunnel Museum. All our hotels were booked, one great meal a day was included, and the local support team was always a quick text away. It was the ideal mix of a road trip and a guided tour.

Wow!!! What a trip! Where to start? Everything was wonderful!!! The hosts and their food were all amazing, the places where we stayed were all better than I expected with hot showers, much nicer rooms than what I've seen elsewhere AND incredible views, Anton and Blendi did an awesome job (everything is ready when we need it: bus waiting for us at the time requested, rooms ready when we arrive, meals on time... everything runs really smoothly but we know behind the scene there's a lot of work to make this happen) and they're both very friendly, helpful and always making sure we have everything we want. We had a great group of people, lots of laugh, lots of raki, lots of sweat (but oh so worth it: I got over 800 photos to prove it!) ? And to top it off, flowers everywhere and couldn't have asked for better weather! As Anton would say "I was VERY IMPRESSED!" ? Would totally recommend this tour to any avid hikers! ❤️❤️❤️
