Itinerary
- Day 1
Nairobi to Masai Mara
You'll leave Nairobi early and drive about 5 to 6 hours toward Masai Mara National Reserve. The journey takes you through the Great Rift Valley, and you'll notice the scenery change gradually from city streets to open savannahs. By late afternoon you'll arrive at your lodge in Masai Mara and settle in for the night.

Masai Mara
Your alarm goes off at 5:30 AM for an early start when animals are most active. You'll spend the full day driving across the savannahs looking for lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo, and rhinos. Around 1:00 PM you'll stop for a picnic lunch in the bush, then head out again for a 3-hour evening drive before returning to the lodge for dinner.

Masai Mara to Serengeti
After breakfast between 6:00 and 6:30 AM, you'll head out toward Serengeti with game drives along the way. The drive takes about 5 hours total, crossing the Kenya-Tanzania border at Sirali and moving through Mara and Northern Serengeti landscapes. You'll have a picnic lunch at 1:00 PM, and by evening you'll reach your lodge for dinner and spa therapy.

Serengeti
Your game drive in Serengeti starts at 5:58 AM to catch predators hunting early in the day. You'll cross the iconic plains spotting elephants, giraffes, zebras, and antelopes throughout the morning. Picnic lunch comes at 12:30 PM at a scenic location, and then you'll continue exploring different parts of the park with riverbanks and rock formations. You'll have some downtime in the late afternoon before heading back to the lodge.

- Day 5
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Breakfast is served at 5:30 AM and you'll depart at 6:30 AM heading toward Ngorongoro Crater. The drive takes approximately 5 hours through scenic country. Around 11:00 AM you'll descend into the crater for your safari, where you can see dense populations of lions, elephants, and rhinos. Lunch happens at Ngoitoktok picnic site at 1:00 PM, then you'll explore more of the crater before heading up to your lodge on the rim.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
You'll head into Ngorongoro Crater at 5:30 AM to catch the sunrise and see lions, elephants, rhinos, and flamingos by the soda lakes with great light for photos. After the morning safari, you'll leave the crater and visit a Seneto Maasai village to learn about local culture. Then you'll drive about 3 hours to Arusha, and from there you'll transfer to the airport for your flight home.
