- Day 1
Paris
You'll arrive in Paris with the rest of the day to yourself. Wander around at your own pace and take in the city's architecture, food scene, and shops. There's plenty of time to get oriented and start exploring whatever catches your interest, whether that's galleries, neighborhoods, or just finding a good café to settle into.

- Day 2
Paris
Join a guided tour that covers the Louvre, Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Opéra Garnier, and Champs-Élysées. After that, you have free time to explore on your own. Check out cafés around the city, head to Montmartre to see the Basilica of the Sacré-Cœur, browse through shops, or visit some of the literary cafés Paris is known for.

Paris to Beaune to Chalon-sur-Saône
Start with a high-speed train from Paris to Dijon, then drive to Beaune. You'll visit the Hôtel-Dieu, a 15th-century building with Van der Weyden's Last Judgment painting inside. From there, continue to Chalon-sur-Saône where you board your river ship and head to Tournus for the night.

Tournus
Explore Tournus with a local guide who'll show you this historic monastic town. Later in the day, you can join an optional wine tasting at a Chardonnay cellar or attend an onboard wine lecture from a Certified Sommelier. The ship moves overnight to Trévoux.

Trévoux to Lyon
You'll sail to Lyon this morning and start with a cheese and wine tasting onboard. Then choose between biking through the city's architectural district by bridges and riverside paths, or taking a guided tour of Fourviès Hill, the Old Town's medieval streets, and Place des Terreaux. In the evening, there's a WWII and French Resistance lecture followed by live entertainment after dinner.

Lyon to Tournon
Take a culinary walk through Lyon to understand why it's considered France's food capital. You'll also join a guided tour to the Beaujolais wine region to learn about the local light wines. Return to the ship for a food and wine pairing dinner with your Sommelier. Later, the ship cruises toward Tournon.

Tournon to Viviers to Avignon
Choose between a vineyard hike or a guided walk through medieval Tournon with its 16th-century castle. Either way, you'll get wine and chocolate tasting. After lunch, there's an onboard wine and cheese tasting as you sail to Viviers. You'll explore Viviers on a late afternoon walking tour, seeing its Romanesque cathedral and Old Town. Evening cruise heads to Avignon with live entertainment.

Take a guided tour of Avignon's ramparts and the Palace of the Popes. If wine interests you, there's an optional visit to Châteauneuf-du-Pape's cellars to taste Rhône wines. You'll have live entertainment onboard, then cruise to Arles in the evening.

After breakfast, you'll drive to Nice along the French Riviera. The route takes you along the Mediterranean coast from Toulon to the Italian border, so it's a scenic drive with plenty to see along the way.

Explore Nice on a guided sightseeing tour that takes you through the narrow, winding streets of Vieux Nice (the old city). You'll see baroque churches and get a feel for this part of town that's stayed largely the same since the 1700s.
