Hanoi to Ninh Binh
Your hotel pickup happens early morning, then you'll travel about 120 km south to Ninh Binh province. Once there, head to Hoa Lu, the ancient capital, where you can walk through temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le dating back to the 17th century. After exploring the temples, you'll cycle around the surrounding village to get a feel for how locals live and work in the area. Around midday, grab a buffet lunch featuring local specialties and regional dishes. In the afternoon, board a boat for a trip through Trang An's UNESCO landscape, paddling through its cave system and waterways.
