- LCLarisa· July 19th, 2025I don’t recommend Expat Explore tour companiy and I’ll not going to travel with them ever again! Tiago, the guide had no idea about all places that we were visited and did not give us any information, but he was asking few times about the tips for him. So if you just want a bus ride, that’s all that you have.Show moreTrip date: June 2025

- Stanley· May 19th, 2025It was a great experience that we will never forget. The pace was fast but it was manageable, with us covering a lot of county's in a short amount of time. Our tour guide did an excellent job in leading us. He was very interesting to listen to, with his knowledge and understanding of the history and culture of each country visited. The driver was excellent in his skills of navigating our course. The driver and guide made an excellent team, providing insight and good leadership. We made many new friends and will never forget our time together with each one of them.Show moreTrip date: May 2025

- Eva· December 10th, 2024Sam, our bus driver, can drive a bus through the needle of a haystack. He's that good!! Jimena was VERY knowledgeable about all of our stops and in between. She was very personable and tried to accommodate our every need. The bus was comfortable. The only thing that I didn't like was having to change seats everyday. The trip is fast and furious and requires a lot of walking. So be in some kid of shape for this trip and be a morning person. The hotels were not the best.Show moreTrip date: May 2022

Asked on June 13th, 2025What type of clothing shall I pack for the june 2026 tour??
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written June 2025
For your June 2026 European Highlights tour, we recommend packing lightweight, breathable clothing for warm summer days, along with a light jacket or sweater for cooler evenings or unexpected weather changes. Comfortable walking shoes are essential, as you'll explore many cities on foot, and it's a good idea to bring sun protection like a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Since your departure is still more than a year away, please note that weather patterns may vary, so we recommend checking the forecast closer to your travel dates and adjusting your packing list accordingly.

Traveler•Written June 2025Great! Thank you so much. We plan to arrive a day prior to the tour...which hotel do you recommend?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written June 2025
I'd recommend the same hotel as the starting point, or somewhere nearby. However since your departure is still far in advance, we cannot confirm the starting hotel yet, even the provisional list. Hotel allocations are subject to change, and we aim to avoid providing inaccurate details to prevent any confusion. We recommend checking back with us around 90 days before departure for the most up-to-date details.

Asked on June 11th, 2025What hotel do we meet and is it recommended to arrive the day before
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written June 2025
As your departure is still quite far in advance, we don't have the exact hotel details just yet. We usually confirm and share the starting hotel around 90 days before the tour departs. That said, this tour begins in Rome, and your meeting time will be 7:30am on the first day. While it's entirely up to you, most travellers choose to arrive a day early. This helps avoid the stress of flight delays and gives you time to rest before the tour starts. Some do arrive on the morning of Day 1 and go directly from the airport to the meeting point—just keep in mind it's an early start and quite a tight window.

Asked on June 3rd, 2025What day should I arrive in Rome for the hotel? Would it be the day before and stay in hotel then meet in morning? Do you offer airport pick up?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written June 2025
For our Europe Highlights Tour, the meet up time on Day 1 is 7:30 AM and then the group will travel to Venice. If you cannot get a flight that will arrive on Day 1 (earlier than 7:30 AM Arrival), then you can choose to arrive a day early. However, you will have to arrange your own accommodations if you arrive a day early because the included accommodations on the Package starts on Day 1 and that will be in Venice. Regrettably, we can no longer assist with transfers. We recommend using public transport for airport-to-hotel transportation. If you prefer a transfer service, you can easily book through Welcome Pickups, a user-friendly platform with competitive prices.

Traveler•Written May 2025If I book a trip then change my mind, can I change destinations?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written May 2025
For the Free Time/Free day on our Tours, they are designed to be the same duration, if not, enough time to be able to complete the Optional Excursions offered.
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written May 2025
We do allow unlimited tour or tour date changes for confirmed bookings and as long as a customer requests for the change 91 days or more from the Tour's Start Date, then the change will not result to any fees.

Traveler•Written May 2025are there wheelchairs available at any time or areas to sit down. My mother can walk about 1 mile after that she needs to sit
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written May 2025
We unfortunately do not provide wheelchairs, and due to the limited space on the coach, we're unable to accommodate wheelchairs on our tours. Additionally, our tours do involve a fair amount of walking and mobility, including walking tours (fast-paced, up to 3 hours) and navigating uneven surfaces or stairs, so a moderate to good level of fitness and mobility is required.
- L
Laurie
Traveler•Written May 2025if she chooses to stay behind will she be able to? Can she stay at meeting place or on bus? Will she be ok to do that?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written May 2025
While it is technically possible for a traveler to sit out or stay behind from certain activities if they feel they cannot continue, it's important to understand that the tour is fast-paced and group-oriented, with a full daily itinerary. Staying behind frequently may not only mean missing out on much of the experience, but it can also affect the overall flow of the tour, as the group must stay on schedule.

Asked on May 9th, 2025I wanted to know if there was a stop that you think I could see Liechtenstein with? Even if the travel is by myself?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written May 2025
I am afraid that this tour will not be able to give you an opportunity to visit Liechtenstein as the closest to the Country that this tour visits in The Swiss Alps but still is a fair ways off if you plan to travel there on the Free Day in the Swiss Alps.

Asked on April 28th, 2025We are wondering where in Rome does the tour depart from? The reason we ask is that we would be landing in Rome the day before and would like to book a hotel near the departure spot. We're also wondering if the tour ends in the exact same location, again for hotel purposes on our last day.
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written April 2025
The provisional meeting and ending point is Excel Roma Montemario Via degli Scolopi, 31, 00136 Roma RM, Italy.
