The venue itself was fantastic — clean with a massive wooden table that gave plenty of space for everyone to work comfortably. Our chef (Ethan) took us through the market and explained how Vietnamese fresh markets work while we bought the supplies for the dinner we’d be making. We then made it back to the location for the cooking and he was very kind in explaining everything and walking us through the cooking. We ended with 4 dishes we cooked together- all amazing! Spectacular setting, Mango our chef is knowledgeable, warm, kind and hilarious- from shopping at the market to demonstrating the preparation of the dishes, she does everything with humour and fun, with insights into Vietnamese culture. The villa setting is stunning, almost like a tv set it’s so well-appointed. The food portions are very generous and the food itself is fresh and delicious with a true taste of Vietnam- we had a group of 5 which was the perfect size. The class was a great length to not be rushed and gave us time to enjoy food and make new friends at the same time. Lyon was fantastic to deal with- responsive, accomodating and really wanted to make sure we had a wonderful time.
