Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakech to Boumalne Dades
You'll start early from either the airport or your riad in Marrakech, then drive across the High Atlas Mountains and through the historic Ounila Valley. Along the way, you'll see the Kasbah Telouet before reaching the UNESCO-listed Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, which sits dramatically on a hillside. After that, head to Ouarzazate to check out the famous film studios where many movies have been shot. By evening, you'll arrive at Boumalne Dades gorge and have time to walk around the area, taking in the canyon views before settling in for the night.

Boumalne Dades to Merzouga
This morning you'll travel through the Tinghir region, known for its silver craftsmanship and traditional farming. You'll pass by the underground irrigation systems that locals have used for centuries to water their crops. Later in the afternoon, head southeast into the Sahara Desert where you'll get on a camel and ride out to watch the sunset. After that, you'll reach your desert camp for dinner under the stars, with just the quiet of the desert around you.

Merzouga to Fes
You'll leave Merzouga and travel north through the Middle Atlas Mountains early in the day. One of your stops will be North Africa's largest cedar forest, where you can walk through the trees and get a sense of the landscape. You'll grab lunch somewhere along the route, then continue on toward Fes. By evening, you'll reach your riad in Fes and have dinner there.

Fes to Chefchaouen
Start with breakfast at your riad, then make your way to the Roman ruins of Volubilis to explore what remains of this ancient Berber site. From there, head west through the countryside toward Chefchaouen, known as the Blue Pearl of the North because of its blue-painted buildings and streets. Once you arrive in the evening, take a stroll through the medina to see the distinctive blue-washed architecture and get a feel for the town's character.

Chefchaouen to Casablanca
You'll travel south through green olive and fruit groves on your way to Rabat, Morocco's capital city. In Rabat, you'll see the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas, which overlooks the Atlantic Ocean from above the river. After spending time there, continue on to Casablanca, Morocco's largest city, and check into your hotel for the night.

Casablanca to Marrakech
You'll visit the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in North Africa, and take in its impressive architecture and intricate details that showcase Morocco's craftsmanship and history. Later, head back to Marrakech and stop for a traditional lunch. From there, you'll get dropped off at your riad or the airport, depending on your plans.
