Philip· June 22nd, 2024Because of the itinerary, I joined the tour and oh, boy, I surely wasn't mistaken. It was a great adventure from beginning to end. The only missing piece is the start of the Revolution, which is situated in Boston. That would have rounded up the experience to a T. Anyhow, the tour guide was great and fun. It happened to be a relative small group tour of 21 people; that helped a lot too in terms of logistics, efficiency and orderliness. But the tour bus could have been better by having WiFi and more sound insulation, especially at the back where the engine and the air-conditioning were noisier;the overhead built-in speakers could have been better; as it was, they were kind of muffled in the rear again. Overall, it was worth every penny. For history buffs, it could not get any better, actually experiencing the real thing, immersing in it all than just reading the events online or in book format. Once in a lifetime experience. Never a dull moment.Show moreTrip date: June 2024- AGlenda· July 17th, 2023Our primary guide, Amy, was knowledgeable about the tour destinations, and what she didn't know immediately found out the answer and got the answer to us.Show moreTrip date: July 2023Review collected by Globus

- AWilliam· June 13th, 2023The tour went beyond my expectations. As a former history teacher, It quenched my desire for knowledge with a balance of information, sites, and reenactors to bring history alive. I liked the accommodations, the food, and the staff. One highlight, in particular, was having dinner in a tavern in Williamsburg. Another was having dinner on the Moshulu in Philadelphia.Show moreTrip date: June 2023Review collected by Globus

Asked on February 5th, 2024Is there an age limit on this trip? We would be traveling with my Mother who is 86. Are wheelchairs available? She can get off and on the bus etc., but may need a wheelchair or walker for places that require lots of walking. Can she bring her own walker? Is there a discount at all for single occupancy? Is it possible to have her near our room in the hotels and seat on the bus? What is included/not included in the stated price? Is transportation to and from the airport included or do we have to make our own arrangements?
GlobusOperator•Written February 2024We are not strict about the 80 year old age limit. If you mom will be comfortable, she will be welcomed. We do not provide wheelchairs or walkers. If she is going to need a walking device (cane, crutches, wheelchair, walker), she will have to bring her own device. We are currently not offer a discount for single travelers. We are offering a $200 discount per person if you decide to stay in a room that can accommodate three people. If you decide to have her in a separate room, you can request that your rooms are close to each other at check in. The total cost will include the transportation to the different locations, meals (breakfast - 8 days and dinner - 4 days), hotel accommodations, and activities (except optional excursion). Transportation to and from the airport will be $55 per person per transfer, this is not included in the cost of the tour.
