Itinerary
- Day 1
Casablanca to Rabat
You'll get picked up when you arrive in Casablanca and get a brief look around Morocco's main business hub. The Hassan II Mosque grounds are on the agenda, and you'll see the minaret that's the tallest in the Islamic world. After that, you'll head to Rabat to check out the Kasbah des Oudayas and the Mohammed V Mausoleum before settling into your riad or hotel for the night.

Rabat to Fes
Following breakfast, you're traveling to Volubilis, where ancient Roman ruins sit as a UNESCO World Heritage site with some of the best-preserved Roman remains in North Africa and intricate mosaics still visible. Meknes comes next on the route, the imperial city sometimes called the 'Versailles of Morocco', then you'll continue on to Fes. Check in, have dinner, and spend the night there.

Fes
After breakfast, a local guide takes you through the Fes medina's tight alleyways on foot. You'll see donkeys and mules moving through narrow streets, wander past market stalls selling spices and perfumes, and visit the leather tanneries where craftspeople still use traditional techniques from centuries back. Dinner happens at a local medina restaurant, then you head back to the hotel.

Landmarks Fes Medina - Day 4
Fes to Sahara
From Fes, you travel through cork oak forests and towering cedars toward the High Atlas Mountains, where there's a chance to spot Barbary apes. Lunch happens in Midelt with High Atlas views all around. The route descends into desert plains with fortified villages visible in the distance. Later you'll get on a camel and trek into the pink Moroccan Sahara dunes, have time to explore, then enjoy Moroccan food and live music by the campfire under stars.

- Day 5
Sahara to Ouarzazate
There's an option to wake early and catch the sunrise on the dunes before riding camels back to the kasbah to clean up. Then you're heading into the Draa Valley to see traditional villages that feel removed from modern life. The 'Road of 1000 Kasbahs' takes you to Ouarzazate, a trading city where routes from north, south, east, and west all meet. Check in at the hotel and relax by the swimming pool for the afternoon.

Ouarzazate to Marrakech
Breakfast done, you'll explore Kasbah Ait Benhaddou nearby, Morocco's most famous kasbah and a UNESCO World Heritage site that's served as a film and television backdrop many times. From there, you cross the High Atlas Mountains heading north toward Marrakech, the 'Southern Pearl' and the second oldest imperial city. You arrive in the afternoon with time to walk around the lively streets at your own pace before evening settles in.

- Day 7
Marrakech
After breakfast at your riad, a knowledgeable local guide leads you through Marrakech's winding alleyways, hidden gardens, and secret souks toward Djemaa el Fna, the cultural center and UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Koutoubia Mosque minaret rises above the square. By evening, the square fills with food stalls, dancers, acrobats, fortune tellers, musicians, and henna artists. You have the full day to spend however you'd like, whether that's visiting a local spa or continuing to check out the medina souks.

Your guide can help with ideas, info, and arrangements. Later in the afternoon, you return to Casablanca where you'll have plenty of time to relax and settle in for the night.

Departure from Casablanca
